Today in inclement weather we witnessed a great game of bowls in the final of the 2026 Major Singles Between Shaun Parnis and Brent Norman. Shaun got away to a good start leading 12-5 after 10 ends. Brent then fought back to lead 18-16 after 18 ends. Shaun came back to even the score at 22 all after 23 ends. Brent then scored a single before Shaun closed the game out with a 2 and then a1 to win 25-23. Throughout the game the crowd was kept entertained with both players going shot for shot. It was a shame that someone had to lose.

In today's 2026 Rookies Pairs (Illawarra Region) at WISOS neither of our pairs made it through to tomorrows finals section.
Andrew Hancox and Matt Dowse had a Bye in R1, won 20-4 in R2 and lost 3-13 in R3. They ended up 2nd in their group where only No 1 progresses.
Brad and Travis Boyd in their section lost 5-10, 3-11 and a Bye to also fail to progress.

HOWEVER, THANK YOU TO BOTH PAIRS FOR REPRESENTING CITOS AND PROMOTING THE cLUB.
