I Love moments where you experience nature for a sense of peace. Just the sounds of ocean, the wind, call of birds. Nature and it's power to bring peace and calm within minutes. When you feel out of balance, take a step away and walk bare foot in the grass, sand, amongst the leaves, listen to the sounds around you, breathe, notice the calm that follows......

Kinder Yoga at a local Kinder this week!
Charlie Bear joined the 3yo Kinders to join in with Yoga poses. While Charlie Bear is a bendy bear, he needs help to get into the Yoga poses. Each child helped Charlie Bear into a pose and then we did the Yoga poses together. We continued practicing our Yoga breathing and used rainbow stones to feel the movement of breath and have breath awareness.

Happy International Yoga Day!
Today is celebrated to bring awareness of the health benefits from practicing Yoga!
This years theme is " Healthy Ageing with Yoga". Focus on Yoga to support the body and mind through the changes that take place as we age through gentle and powerful practices.
Yoga is a practice that has been part of my life for 31 years and 28 of that teaching others the gifts of Yoga and what it can bring to our health and well-being.
For me the breath techniques of Yoga ( pranayama) have helped me through many experiences in my life. Managing chronic pain after a car accident, seeing me through 3 childbirth experiences and healing and bringing relaxation at those times that challenge you, the loss of a loved one or through health concerns.
Physically yoga has made me feel strong, flexible and confident in my body.
Mentally it's brought strength and relaxation to my mind and helped me learn about finding that stillness and quiet again.
I can't imagine a life without yoga!
Enjoy today and bring some yoga into your life and share it with others!
Happy Yoga Day!!!

Happy International Women's Day!
This year's theme is " Balance the Scales"
Promoting fair, inclusive and accessible justice for every woman and girl.
There are still too many women and girls not having even basic human rights in this world!
I give a call out to all the beautiful and successful women in my life and to all those that have contributed to my life along the way, teachers, mentors, health carers and health promotional workers and wellbeing speakers who have made the woman I am!
Keep up our great work educating people on the importance of making changes & justice for all.
