Our hearts are with the Kidd family as they face a battle no family should ever have to go through. Slater has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and life has been turned upside down for this beautiful family in just a matter of weeks.

What incredible news for the Woodberry Warriors family 🙌

On behalf of the Seniors, we want to say how proud we are to see Payne Haas returning to Fred Harvey Oval, the place where his journey began. For our juniors, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet someone who started exactly where they are now and went on to reach the top of the NRL.

We’ll be there cheering alongside you all on Friday, August 22nd, celebrating Payne’s homecoming and supporting our juniors in making memories they’ll never forget.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Payne will be visiting the Woodberry Warriors on Friday, August 22nd, from 4:00 PM at Fred Harvey Oval!

We are incredibly honoured that Payne has made time in his busy schedule while he's in the Newcastle area to visit his junior club. This is a fantastic opportunity for our players to meet Payne and hear about his journey from our very own Fred Harvey Oval to the top of the NRL
