Well it’s that time of year again, footy and soccer have all wrapped up, while winter sports lay dormant and with the warmer weather on the horizon, means cricket season is fast approaching.

The Woodbridge Cricket Club are continuing to support Junior cricket. We had a team last year that were exceptional in the HJCL stage 1 competition last season.
You don’t have to have played before, as long as you have the ability to have fun your already half way there. Most of the kids last season had never played before and went on to enjoy what was a memorable season. The coaching group will help along the way.

We are hoping to field not one but two Junior teams this season to cater for a wider range of age groups and skills sets.

Stage 1 cricket - targeted at 8-11 years of age, played of a Monday night - perfect for beginners and younger players., with modified rules to assist child development.

Stage 2 cricket - targeted at 10-14 years of age, played of a Wednesday night - a step up in skills, closer to the real way it’s played.

So if you have a child that is interested in learning and playing of cricket please reach out to us via email at [email protected] or message us right here via Messenger for more information.

Cheers,
Kyle Harvey - W.C.C President

After a successful run at the Burrow the past few years, the club is entering a new period coming into the 26/27 season with a rebuild on the horizon.
With a change in the playing group and injection of youth that will be keeping us older players young, we are excited to see what this season brings.

If Coaching is a venture you’ve considered please don’t hesitate to reach out.
