Clear medical scans do not mean your symptoms are imaginary.
If you or your NDIS clients struggle with chronic unexplained nausea, the stomach might simply be stuck in a freeze state. When the nervous system senses danger, it halts digestion.
Why chronic nausea is a nervous system issue, not just a stomach issue, in the new Substack piece at the link below.

It's happened enough times now that I notice it early…
A client I've known a while, and one day the nausea comes up. Or the migraines. Or the IBS-shaped complaints slipped into an aside like they're not the point of the sentence.
Months later, sometimes, an autoimmune diagnosis lands. I’ve seen that several times now.
And I always think, you could have been doing the nervous system work this whole time. Because usually, I named it early on… there’s an avoidance for some reason. Yet it has helped so many people so much.
A new piece on Substack is on the way, about how this works. I’ll be breaking down different issues and how they relate to the nervous system, and what helps. Any questions, let me know.
In the meantime you can try a itty bitty practice from my YouTube if you want a little pause, head to the first comment.

My passion drives me to make it easy for owners and teachers to share this program. For lots of reasons. ($7 link in bio!)
This pic here is from a teacher in NSW taking the initiative, running with the passion, to help by printing the little info sheets. Why? cos it’s already helped her, and in her words, “I have learned so much already!” She can see it will help others.
I’m grateful. SuperGrateful. In fact.
How can you help? Share my stuff in your stories, share Facebook posts, join in the fun!
Why do I personally do all I can to make it easy and I experiment with how to do that?
1️⃣I believe in this program. We all need to move for our mental and physical health.
2️⃣ Bit by Bit, I’m building more resources to support mental health. Not as a therapist, but as a capacity builder. These live in itty bitty tools, courses, integrated in classes. Again we all need this. Well, most of us.
3️⃣ We are not silos. So many of us work with people who’ve been through Hard Things. 1 in 3 people have been through really hard trauma which means they are in all communities and businesses. Many of those businesses serve and support trauma folk in some fashion, such as sessional support be it classes, counseling/therapy sessions. I think if we work together, we can help people hold it together, build capacity, and get to the point they can heal quicker. Some say this is the difference between recovery and healing. I am in the recovery space.
4️⃣I am SO passionate I give a cut to owners who are affiliates - Founders got 25% of all sales and those payments started to be paid this last week. So exciting!! Supporting people to recover, so they can heal, should be easy. So I put my money where my mouth is. Making it easy.

A share from Andria, who made the online platform for cross training and other support…
I’m super happy about a few things to do with the online program stuff.
Tiny back story. I made it so that moment, basic mental health and nervous system support, and connection are accessible.
When I first make the strength and flexibility mobility videos, of which there are many, I made them specifically for pole dance because a lot of poles are reluctant to cross train and to pay what they pay vs r pole classes for it. They want to get fit doing pole. The reality is pole puts a lot of pressure on your body and cross training helps keep you safe and helps you succeed.
The other reality about this is the movement is safe for everyone. But super great for polers. They’re whole body workouts, lower, and upper. Pretty traditional and also very functional including stuff we all need like push and pull, training the posterior chain, deep core work.
To the point. I’m excited!
1️⃣ the first of the affiliates parentheses have been paid. All up that’s over $200 going back to studios.
2️⃣ after sending the pretty payment statement to one of the studios, I got an email today saying, “This is awesome!!! Your program is going to grow I can tell!!!!” Thank you 🙏
3️⃣ One studio in particular is referral central and it’s going great. Wagga is responsible for the first $7 trial being sold today. I put my money where my mouth is and make it accessible. It’s one week of a follow along course (suitable for everyone, you don’t have to do every day) and access to the whole shabang. That came through when I was teaching pole today and I was so excited! I saw the Stripe notification come through that I had a new customer and got to celebrate with real students. Thank you to them to and the lady who purchased!
So far I am hearing:
😃 “I’ve learned so much already!” From a pole teacher.
Another advanced poker is doing is consistently and enjoying it.
😊 A beginner poler is doing it and having a blast live online with us on Mondays when she comes. We did a silly Gumby dance together recently. Was a hoot. Being live online with people across the country (& NZ in the past too) is such a joy!
🤩 I’ve got one person who’s been in the program for ages now and even though she can’t train right now, she keeps her training time sacrosanct by doing the nervous system work, which is bound to help the health issues she has, even if just a little bit.
Now the $7 trial is available, I hope you’ll try it, if you try the full thing after a week you even get your $7 back off of the fee.
Any questions, DM me! The link is in the insta bio, the cover photo of my Facebook, and the storefront.
Here’s to this thing growing and helping lots of people.

Here’s a quick one, because people genuinely don’t realise how much is in the Movement ‘n’ Mindfulness Hub.
Sixteen strength classes. Twenty cardio and boxing. Eighteen flexibility. Twenty restore and somatic practices. Plus the courses, the printables, and a whole library showing you how to do the exercises properly so you’re not guessing.
The monthly calendar hands you a path so you don’t have to think about any of it. But if you’d rather go rogue and build your own thing, it’s all sitting right there for you.
That’s the bit that makes $59 a month make sense, by the way. It’s not five videos and a wave goodbye. It’s a proper library with someone guiding you through it. Plus you have a way to reach me when needed so I can help, some community catch ups, some live classes, a bunch of follow along courses - and a course a month guaranteed til the end of the year.
The $7 trial is open for a hot minute… you get one week inside the Hub, then you decide if you want to stay. Grab it by 23 August.

It's beautiful (brutiful, really), to see people turn their trauma into gold and gifts.
Sometimes it's all we can do to survive. It means a lot as a survivor to make an impact on others' lives in a positive way. Brings some kind of meaning to the mess.
Learn more by reading something like 'Man's search for meaning,' by Dr Viktor Frankl.
Some people think survivors want attention, fame...
Nope. They want to make a difference so no one has to go through what they have (well, less people, wouldn't that be nice...).
Kudos to David Wilkins MP and much gratitude for sloughing out to get where he is, may his impact in his lifetime and beyond, be great.
How thoughtful is this? 🥹
My dear friend Olivia Savvas MP has had my SA Weekend feature beautifully framed for my office at Parliament House.
A very special keepsake from a story sparked by my First Speech to Parliament. Thank you, Olivia 🥰

Most people don’t quit a fitness thing because they’re lazy or weak. They quit because the plan assumed they had five sessions a week in them, and they had two.
So this doesn’t do that to you.
Got one session a week? Do the whole body strength class. Just that one. Same one all month. That’s a real program, not a sad little consolation prize.
Got three, and one’s already your pole class/BJJ/etc? Whole body strength, front splits/hip mobility, and the class you’re already showing up to. Done.
Got more in you? Add the lower body work or the boxing.
And any time at all, even ten minutes on a rough day, there’s a somatic practice that isn’t a workout… it’s for when your body’s wound up tight and needs to come back down. In fact, true story, one of my in person students told me this week that she does exactly this. She can’t train properly right now for health reasons, so what she does is (follow my advice) keeps her training time, and does something helpful with it. Keep a practice…
You build movement and recovery around your actual life. Not the fantasy version where you suddenly have six free evenings and the energy of a golden retriever.
It’s $89 a month normally. $59 with a valid studio code, and if you join during the pilot you keep that price while you stay. Join whenever.
For now, you can try it for $7 for one week, but the trial needs to be purchased by 23 August. Link in bio, or DM me for a code.
