⚽🏆 What an incredible journey!

It was a great experience traveling to participate in the Australia Rohingya Football Tournament. A big congratulations to Rohingya United FC on becoming the champions! 🏆👏

A little sad for Rohingya Southern FC for not being able to secure the win, but we’re still proud of the effort and spirit shown throughout the tournament. ❤️⚽

At least one Queensland team brought the championship home! 💪💚

InshaAllah, next year will be our year again! 🙌🔥

Congratulations to all the teams, players, organizers, and supporters who made this tournament special. 🤝⚽

Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day 2026

Every year on 25 August, the Rohingya Community worldwide observes Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day to honour the victims of the Rohingya Genocide, remember the resilience of survivors, and reaffirm our collective commitment to justice, human rights, and accountability.

For decades, the Rohingya people have endured persecution, displacement and unimaginable suffering. This day is an opportunity for our community and supporters to come together in solidarity, reflect on those we have lost, amplify the voices of survivors, and ensure that their stories are never forgotten.

As part of this year's commemoration, the program will include:

● A remembrance ceremony
● Survivor testimonies and community reflections
● Messages of solidarity from community leaders and distinguished guests
● A collective call for justice, peace and the prevention of genocide

📅 Commemoration Event: Saturday, 22 August 2026

🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

📍 Venue: Gould Adams Park, Kingston, Logan
