A special shoutout to Leon, Bernard, Syd, Dan and Ryan for rolling up their sleeves and building our Sukkah - we couldn’t have done it without you!

And to our gorgeous volunteers who decorated, cooked and added all those special touches that made our Sukkah feel so warm, welcoming and full of community spirit - thank you! 🫶

For some, hearing the shofar is a powerful connection to memories, family and a lifetime of Jewish tradition and a reminder that they remain very much a part of our community.

Through Project Kavod, COA helps bring the chagim to Jewish residents living in non-denominational nursing homes, making sure they continue to feel connected to their Jewish community and traditions. 💙

For Yom Kippur, we brought the sounds, spirit and traditions of the chag directly to residents, including a special shofar blowing by Zev from Chabad of Bondi.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Yom Kippur and an easy fast.
