Staying strong and healthy is important all the time but probably more now than ever:
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
On 23 March 2020 the Minister made Public Health Order that directs the closure of certain places of social gathering, including gyms and other indoor recreation facilities.
Keeping fit remains important, visit Make Healthy Normal for workouts you can try at home.
---------------------------------------------------
Is it safe for me to go to the gym? Here are some tips on social distancing in gyms:
• Keeping fit remains important. If you are well and have not been asked to self-isolate then you can go to the gym. Don’t go to the gym if you are unwell.
• You should use wipes provided before you use each piece of equipment.
• You should try to go to the gym when it’s less crowded.
• Gym classes are currently OK, but this advice may change.
• Gyms should be ensuring that they are cleaning regularly, using appropriate disinfectant

Spot on 💥
Under-reporting is way more common the issue when comes to fat loss and we are all good at lying...even to ourselves! 🤦♂️
posted • I had a client start with me a while back who was ~20-30lbs overweight. When he filled in his client questionnaire form he reported eating like the second slide. So, of course, my reaction was “dafuq?”
When I asked him if he’d been tracking his food intake, he replied with “Nah, I pretty much eat the same thing everyday so no point.”
Again, me: Dafuq?
Anyway, I can’t be bothered to tell you that story anymore because it’s insanely boring but my point here is:
People suck at accurately recalling food intake—can you recall *everything* you ate yesterday? Yea thought so—and if you can’t lose fat despite your healthy gluten-free vegan butter diet it’s because you’re eating too much EVEN if you don’t think you are.
I’ve written an article, in excruciating detail I might add, on how you do exactly that, but I can’t be bothered to link to it so just Google it or something IDK (Physiqonomics eating too much).
Anyway, good talk. Bye.

Not enough! 🤦♂️
2 out of 3 Aussies are not getting near enough exercise each day!
Last week, Sports Australia released the 2018/19 AusPlay report. It showed that only 34% of Australians are meeting the Physical Activity Guidelines. That's almost 2 out of 3 Australians who aren't moving enough.
Clearly, the message isn't getting through. Despite all the funding and different strategies implemented a state and federal level, nothing is working to improve these levels and it's time to rethink how physical activity rates are addressed.
This isn't just a health issue. It's also an issue for education, transport, social services and infrastructure, and more funding is needed across the board.
Australia, we need to move more. Will you get 30 minutes of physical activity today?
