That’s a wrap on Twilight Social Season 3!

🏆 Pivot Grigio have taken out Season 3, just pipping Cruisers in the final percentages to claim first place.
Congratulations to both teams - it doesn’t get much closer than that!

And to everyone who took to the court this season, thanks for making Twilight Social what it is. Whether you arrived with a full team of mates or joined solo and met your team along the way, we love seeing Wednesday nights buzzing.

Season 4 Twilight Social returns Wednesday 14 October, running through to 2 December.

8 weeks of mixed netball for players aged 15+, all skill levels welcome. And at just $100 for the season, (including Netball Queensland insurance), it’s a pretty easy way to get back on court.

No team? No problem. Register individually and we’ll place you in one. Want to play with your mates? Register individually and let us know who you’d like to play with - we’ll do our best to keep you together.

Four decades of N&DNA history. Three generations of one netball family. And a whole lot of memories made along the way.

It starts with Margaret Webb. A long-time committee member and registrar at Yandina and NCC, Margaret was part of the association in its early days (back when the game & the courts looked a little different but the love of netball was just as strong.)

One of these photos captures Margaret in her umpiring days, in a game involving Bli Bli players (blue uniforms).

Then came her daughter, Renae. In the late 1990s/early 2000s, Renae represented N&DNA in Rep netball, pulling on the same colours and creating her own chapter in the association’s story. The Rep uniforms have certainty changed over time!

And now, more than two decades later, Renae’s daughter Sophie has found her way back to the same courts.

In 2026, Sophie represented N&DNA in our Under 12 Rep team and was awarded MVP.

Three generations.
One association.

And countless hours spent on courts, in committee rooms, on sidelines and behind the scenes - playing, volunteering, coaching, umpiring, cheering and helping build the community we have today.

That’s the special thing about N&DNA.

It’s not just the games we remember. It’s the people, the friendships and the families who keep coming back.

A huge thank you to Margaret, Renae and Sophie for the part each of you has played in the N&DNA story. Thank you for giving your time, wearing the colours, supporting your community and helping carry the love of netball from one generation to the next. Your family’s involvement is exactly what makes this association so special.

This Saturday’s final NetSetGo session will be an extra-special celebration. Players and families are invited to bring a plate for a shared morning tea as we celebrate the end of a very fun season for players and Olivia’s exciting news!!

That’s a wrap! This Saturday is our final NetSetGo session, and we’re finishing the season with a little celebration!

🏐 Bring a plate to share for our morning tea
🏐 Games will be played until 9.40am
🏐 We’ll finish with a shared morning tea and certificates for all our NetSetGo stars

Parents, come along, cheer them on and help us finish the season on a high!

It’s been so much fun watching the kids learn, play and build their confidence on court. For children aged between 8-10 years who want to continue the fun next term, see our website for information on the Term 4 Moddies Comp. Our Term 4 Moddies competition kicks off Monday 12 October, with eight weeks of netball, learning, friendships and plenty of time on court.

Moddies is the “Go” stage of the NetSetGo program, designed for players aged 8-10 years who are developing their netball skills and confidence.

The rules are slightly modified to make the game a little easier to learn, giving players more time to make decisions, practise their skills and enjoy playing.

Teams and individual players are welcome.

🏐 12 Oct – Monday 30 Nov
🏐 Mondays from 4pm
📍 Nambour Netball Association, Woombye
💲 $100 per player

TERM 4 JUNIOR NETBALL IS BACK

One of our most loved competitions is returning in October. Term 4 Netball is a relaxed way for players aged 10-18 to keep playing, have a run around with friends and meet some new teammates along the way.

Girls and boys are welcome, and no previous netball experience is needed.

🏐 Wednesday afternoons | From 8 October
🏐 $100 for the season
🏐 Nambour Netball Association, Woombye

You can register as a team or register individually and we’ll help find you a team.

Bibs and umpires are supplied, and there are no finals - just a good old run of Wednesday night netball.
