🦺🏊♀️ WELCOME TO WEEK 9 — SAFETY WEEK! 🏊♂️🦺
It’s Safety Week at Li’l Stingers! 💙 This term, we’ll be focusing on clothed water safety and helping our swimmers understand what it feels like to be in the water wearing everyday clothing.
👕 What to wear:
• Long-sleeve shirt + shorts OR
• T-shirt + long pants
👙 Please make sure swimmers wear their swimwear underneath their clothes.
Don’t worry — students will not spend their entire lesson in their clothes. Clothing will be incorporated into part of the lesson before being removed for the remainder of their swimming activities.
🌊 50m Pool Reminder:
Our Mini Stingers and Whip Rays will spend some time in the 50m pool during their lesson. Please bring extra warm clothes for afterwards to help keep your little swimmers warm! 🥶🧥
This is an important skill for swimmers to practice, as unexpected situations can happen and being able to stay calm and safe in the water while wearing clothes is an important part of water safety.

The coaching team and management of the pool will work with you and the child to ensure that they are confident and improving in the water. Initially the programs are aimed to develop confidence and water safety in your children. As they improve the aim will slowly adjust to focus on stroke enhancement and move them towards the Stingrays mini-squad. Come down and meet the team and discuss our options with them.

Have you ever wondered what swimming carnivals are all about? Or maybe you have a little swimmer who would love to give racing a go? 💙
We have our Junior Tadpole Swim Meet coming up on Saturday the 12th of September! 🏅
✨ 10 years and under
✨ Open to club & non-club members
✨ $10 nominations
✨ Gates open at 8:30am
✨ Racing starts at 9:00am
There will be 12.5m and 25m races in all four strokes, plus kicking races and fun novelty events! 🏊♂️🎉
And the best part? No need to pre-book! Simply show up on the day and get involved! 🙌
It’s a fantastic opportunity for younger swimmers to experience the fun and excitement of a swim meet in a friendly and supportive environment.

If you have a CURRENT enrolled Learn to Swim student, they can swim for just $2 PLUS ONE accompanying adult for $2 as well — as long as you’re both swimming together. ❤️
👨👩👧👦 Any additional family members can swim too, but regular entry prices apply.
It’s the perfect way to get some extra pool time, practise those skills and have fun together! 🏊♂️☀️

Weekend Recap!
Tadpoles Swimming Carnival 🏊♀️🏊♂️💦
What a ripper weekend for our 5–10yo swimmers! 🐸We had a heap of fun racing over 12.5m and 25m, cheering each other on and building confidence in the water.
A huge thank you to Central Swim Club for jumping in and supporting our little swimmers in the water — we were so lucky to have you! 🙌
We had a fantastic turnout and loved seeing so many of our Lil’ stingers and some new faces giving it a go! 🐝💦
We hope to see even more of our Lil’ Stingers joining us next time! 💙
