WARNING! What Sutherland Shire Council (SSC) ISN'T BEING TRANSPARENT to the Community, regarding Burnum Burnum Sanctuary proposed car park. It is proposed Sutherland Shire Paddle Club ( Est 1972 with its Clubhouse at this location for over 46 years) will now no longer be permitted to park on a grass section near the Clubhouse on Sundays, Club day. Instead on a sunny day the Community can expect 25- 30 cars with boats on roof as per images, relegated to the carpark. Safety and Environmental concerns were sited as the reason for our proposed removal. The PROPOSED, INTRODUCED RISKS to all Sanctuary users including our members will be profound. Check out the link and SPEAK UP NOW. The Community didn't ask for this.

Lots of laughs and healthy banter at last nights trivia and dinner, Club social night out.Table (201), 10 member team and (202), 5 member team battled it out with a room full of others. Whilst there were attempts to balance the team table numbers early in the evening, the desire to defect didn't occur to the end with The Magnificent 5 supremely victorious. Big shout out to Karen G for organising the night and we look forward to more off water socialising activities together as a Club.
