Here are the incredible Country squads that represented Country in the Men’s 22s & Opens, Women’s Opens & our Masters 35s, 40s, 45s & 50s over the last few weekends.

There was some hard-fought games, unmatched team spirit and pure grit and heart every single time they step onto the court.

Congratulations to the Women’s team they were amazing and won all 3 of their games v City and lost just 3 skins.

Masters saw Country bring the State Cup home for the 3rd consecutive year and saw the over 35s,40s & 50s crowned champions.

To all our teams, well done on such a massive few weekends of Indoor Cricket.

Thankyou to Newcastle Indoor Centre for hosting, to NSW Indoor Cricket for coming to play & to all the centre owners who put so much time and effort into getting these weekends organised.

COUNTRY ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

NSW State Cup Challenge - City v Country was played over the weekend in Newcastle.

In a massive display of regional pride and country grit, the Country Masters teams secured the cup again.

And in even better news this is now the 3rd consecutive year that Country has won the State Challenge Cup!

ANNOUNCEMENT - COACHES

NSW Country Juniors would like to congratulate the following coaches who have been selected to lead our teams that will head to Nationals.

Nationals will be July 3rd-10th 2027 at Casey Stadium Cranbourne, Victoria.

MASTERS TEAMS

Our Masters will take on City in Newcastle on the 15/16 August.

PREMIERS - BBI

On Saturday we saw some amazing indoor cricket being played.

4 divisions, 4 champions but so much talent on the courts.

Prems - Steel v Piranhas
The Prems grand final was full of superstars, big hits and some amazing defensive bowling/fielding efforts.
Steel take home their 3rd straight title in Prems!

Masters - Steel v Stingers
This was a 2 game winner takes all, Steel got all 4 skins in game 1.
Game 2 stingers needed all 4 skins for a super over, and it went to the wire.
Steel ended the 2 games with 5 skins to 3 and take home the Premiers title!

2s - Stingers v Scorpions
The ball did most of the talking. Stingers took 14 wickets in this game, the Scorpions gave it a red hot crack but fell short.
Stingers took home their 5th straight title for 2s!

3s - Steel v Scorpions
Not much separated these 2 teams all comp.
Grand final went to the wire. Steel held on & showed how your fielding will get you home.

Congratulations to Steel & Stingers for taking home the trophies.

A huge thankyou to everyone who played in the BBI this season, to the centres who hosted, and to all the people who travel, support and contribute!
