Yesterday afternoon we were lucky enough to have a few North Melbourne players at the club that did some activities with kids involved.
Handballs tackles and goal kicking and some prizes given to those involved.

Friday night was more than just a game for our Senior 3rds.

During our home clash against Wyndham Vale, both clubs came together — wearing black armbands and forming a circle before the first bounce — to observe a minute of silence in honour of Nathan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald.

A life taken far too soon, doing what he loved most.

Our boys retired the number 34 for the night, placing his jumper on the door as every player paid their respects running out onto the ground.

On Sunday our Jnrs also donned black arm bands to show there respects.
Well done kids!

Like clubs right across the country, we are deeply saddened by this loss. Our thoughts are with Fitzy’s family, friends, teammates, and everyone at Epping Football Netball Club.

The football community stands together in moments like this — united, supportive, and strong.
