Good luck to all our Hawks players competing at this weekend’s Victorian Masters Championships in Shepparton.

Congratulations to our School Sport Victoria representatives Angus, Ryder, Tyler and Deb on claiming the bronze medal at the School Sport Australia Championships.

The team finished the tournament in style with a hard fought 7–4 victory over ACT.

Good luck to our three juniors — Angus, Ryder and Tyler — who are representing School Sport Victoria this coming week.

We’d also like to wish the best of luck to our own Deb Robinson, who will be managing the boys throughout the tournament.

The tournament begins tomorrow and we can’t wait to see them pull on the Big V and represent Victoria with pride.

20 YEARS - Andrew “Frischy” Frisch

From joining the club as a junior alongside his family, to representing Werribee, Victoria/ACT and continuing to proudly wear Hawks colours at Masters level. Frischy has always been the type of person every club needs. A teammate, coach, volunteer and mate who brings energy, laughs and support wherever he goes.

No matter where life has taken him, Hawks has always remained a big part of who he is. Our club is better because of people like Frischy.

BEST CLUB PERSON – Karl Kriehn

A huge congratulations and thank you to our 2025/26 Best Club Person, Karl Kriehn.

Karl truly bleeds navy and gold. As a Life Member, he consistently goes above and beyond for our club, not just this season, but every single year he’s been involved.

This year alone, Karl took on numerous roles across the club, including coaching our Blue Women, Men’s and Junior teams. He also assisted with coaching the combined Werribee U17 team at the State Championships.

In his own time, Karl dedicated countless hours helping juniors prepare for upcoming competitions, secured our Ages Pizza sponsorship, and played a major role in selling raffle tickets at the Tigers Clubhouse over several weeks.

Karl’s commitment, passion and willingness to always lend a hand are what drives our club forward.
