Vikings AGM | Wednesday Night

A reminder that the Wynnum Vikings AFC Annual General Meeting is this Wednesday night at 7pm at the Clubhouse.

The AGM is an important opportunity for members to hear an update on the Club, the year that has been, and importantly, what lies ahead as we continue to grow and plan for the future.

We’ll also formally elect the 2026/27 Management Committee and provide members with the opportunity to be part of the conversation about the direction of our Club.

Earlier this year we introduced our Club Vision and Values to help define who we are, what we stand for and the kind of club we want to continue building.

Belonging. Respect. Resilience. Integrity. Teamwork.

From our youngest Vikings through to our Seniors, these values belong to all of us.

They’re bigger than wins and losses. Bigger than any one team, age group or season.

They’re about how we represent our club, how we treat and respect everyone we share our game with, how we respond when things get tough and what it means to be a Viking.

As season 2026 comes to a close, our direction remains clear.

We’re pretty lucky to have been selected to run the Youi Community Canteen at the AFLW Round 6 game!

This is a fantastic fundraising opportunity for the Vikings, with the money raised going directly towards new footballs and equipment to get our teams ready for the 2027 season.

We need 12 adult volunteers to help us out on the day.

🙋 12 volunteers required – adults only
