2 weeks ago I had surgery to remove some loose bone fragments after dislocating and fracturing my hip while mountain biking. 2 days later I was home on crutches doing basic quad and hamstring activation exercises while lying down. Today I did my first upper body workout at home with some light dumbbells. The point is if you have an injured limb you can and should be training the rest of the body to prevent muscle and strength loss. Mentally it also feels great to be moving in a positive direction.
