Recapping a fun year - some great memories with Dan with TWO penalty saves in one game to clinch a win (against the eventual league winners).
Some epic goals like Matt’s absolute fire goal from outside the box – which was then replicated by Nathan from a corner at the end of the year.
Rookie of the year Lachy with his first goal of the year perfectly into the corner.
Special mention of course for Coops for scoring basically every time, and Tristan for winning player of the year - just playing that sweeper role to perfection.

It's finally time for season 2024! We kick off today - see below for our first four games. ⚽ Thanks to Tide Electrical for partnering for another year!

⚽⚽⚽ With our end-of-season catchup in the books, we had a bit of a discussion on team stats for the year, and here they are (photos below). Here's also a few highlights that I recalled:

- Ben Cooper with the second-most goals in the division, and fourth-highest in the whole league basically keeping us in contention the whole year
- Godfrey with a hattrick and a ridiculous 1.75 goals per game average
- Michael with a cracking goal from right wing on his birthday
- Goal of the season from Ben Finch's volley
- Zero washouts the whole year
- Some amazing saves from Dan & Ian in goals
- Some huge performances from guys who had never played soccer before like Reid & Ray

Thanks all, we go again in about five months!

That’s a wrap on Season 2023. Good to have lots of new faces in the team this year, and I think we continued to play in a good spirit against all opponents. A few too many injuries meant we didn’t make finals, but a valiant final game to draw 1-1 with the minor premiers was a fitting way to clench fifth spot.

Thanks to all for playing and having a go, and to the supporters showing up weekly, and to Tide Electrical for the great shirts and partnership!
