🙌🏀 A little appreciation post for Beppe & Finn! 💛🖤

If you see these two around the courts tonight, make sure you give them a high five! ✋

Not only did they play North Coast Shield over the weekend, they also spent two full days coaching and reffing — giving up their own time so our Yamba teams could get out on court and play.

And after a massive weekend… they’ll be straight back at RLSC tonight, reffing our Monday competition. 🏀😅

It takes a lot of people behind the scenes to make basketball happen in Yamba, and these two continue to step up 🙏🏼

📧 Check your email for your child’s updated team list — there have been plenty of changes, so make sure you know your team and game time before Monday.

U15 families: your updated team lists have also been emailed. All U15 games are at 6.05pm each Monday.

🏀🦐 PRAWN BOWL 2026 — THIS SUNDAY! 🦐🏀

The Prawn Bowl is hitting Raymond Laurie Sports Centre this Sunday, 16 August and we’d love to see you there! 💛🖤

We’ll have teams from Yamba and Ballina Basketball Incorporated battling it out across the day, with plenty of great junior basketball, good vibes and Trawlers spirit on show.

🏀 Basketball all day
🙌 Plenty of fun to be had
💛 Everyone is welcome!

Whether you’re playing, supporting, part of another club or just keen to come down and check out the action — come along, grab something from the BBQ, make some noise and support grassroots basketball.

🏀 Can you help the Trawlers?

We’re looking for a little community support for our upcoming Gala Days on 3 & 10 August.

We’re hoping to borrow:
🏀 6 portable basketball hoops
🚚 A ute or flat-bed truck to help transport them

Hoops would be picked up on Saturday 1 August and returned after the Gala Days.

💛🖤 Congratulations to our Yamba Trawlers U12 Girls on an outstanding NJL season. 🖤💛

After an incredible campaign, the girls finished the weekend as runners-up, after a hard-fought Grand Final.

While the result wasn’t the one they were chasing, this team has so much to be proud of. They showed determination, resilience and outstanding teamwork all season, finishing with a silver medal after an exceptional tournament.

To our players, Coach Kelle’, manager and families—thank you for your commitment, passion and the way you represented the Trawlers. Hold your heads high. This is a team with a very bright future.
