🐯 HE’S COMING HOME! 💛🖤

We’re excited to welcome Xavier O’Dwyer back to Yea for the 2027 season! 👏🏼

Xavier pulled on the yellow and black a few years back before relocating to Darwin, and we’re thrilled that he’ll soon be making the move back home to Yea with his partner Naomi and their young son Wesley. 🏡

We can’t wait to see Xavier back out on the park, pulling on the yellow and black and representing the Tigers once again in 2027! 💛🖤

We’re pumped to announce that Andrew ‘Breeza’ Bree has re-signed with the Yea Tigers for the 2027 season! 🐯💛🖤

Breeza will be back in the black and yellow, ready to get stuck in and continue giving everything for the Tigers! 💪🏼

Yea Football Netball Club has secured a genuine coup, with former St Kilda senior coach Alan Richardson coming on board to help shape the club’s junior football program.

🏆 A huge congratulations to two of our very own! 🐯💛🖤

Mel and Ben were both nominated in the Outer East Community Awards for Coach of the Year in their respective sports — Mel for Netball and Ben for Football! 👏🏼

While neither came away with the award this year, we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible work, commitment and passion they have poured into their teams and our club throughout the season.

To be recognised with a nomination is a testament to the hard work and dedication they have both shown, and we’re incredibly lucky to have them leading our Tigers! 💛🖤

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF YEA FNC FOOTBALL 🐯🏉

On Friday, our President Pete caught up with the highly respected Alan Richardson as we continue putting plans in place for an exciting future for junior football at the Yea Football Netball Club! 💛🖤

Alan is coming on board to help YFNC develop our junior football program and support our goal of getting U14, U16 and U18 football up and running for the 2027 season 👏🏼

With an incredible wealth of experience across the AFL industry, Alan will work alongside our YFNC coaches, managers, coordinators and football department, providing mentoring, guidance and support as we build a strong and sustainable pathway for the next generation of Tigers🐯

Alan currently holds the role of General Manager of AFL Football Performance and brings with him an outstanding football résumé, including six years as senior coach of St Kilda, along with coaching roles across several AFL clubs throughout his career.

We’re incredibly excited to have someone of Alan’s experience and knowledge helping us shape the future of junior football at YFNC.

The future is looking bright, and we can’t wait to see the next generation of Tigers pull on the black and yellow! 💛🖤
