🚨 JUNIOR COMP UPDATE 🚨
Just a quick update to let everyone know that Junior Competition will ‼️ NOT ‼️ be starting this week.
We’re still working through team allocations, creating/restructuring divisions and making sure we get the competition set up in the best possible way for our juniors. 👥
⚠️ DON’T WORRY — NO ROUNDS WILL BE MISSED!
Any missed rounds will be made up throughout the season, either by:
🏉 Running a double-round Thursday night, or
🔥 Holding a Super Saturday round!
📣 JUNIOR REFEREE MEETING
Details for the Junior Referee meeting — including the day, time and location — will be announced over the coming days.
ℹ️ This information will be shared through Heja AND our page, so keep an eye out!
We know this pre-season has been a little bit of a wild ride! 🎢 We genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we work through everything behind the scenes.
We’re doing the best we can with what we’ve been given, and our biggest priority is simple…

⚠️ JUNIOR SEASON 2 UPDATE! ⚠️
Due to lower numbers this season, we’ve had to make a little restructure to how our divisions have looked in the past.
👥 THIS SEASON, BOYS & GIRLS WILL PLAY WITHIN THE SAME COMPETITION!
Teams will NOT be mixed, boys’ teams will remain boys’ teams and girls’ teams will remain girls’ teams. They will simply have the opportunity to play against each other throughout the season. 🏉
We understand this format may bring some nerves or may not be what everyone is used to, but with our current team numbers, this gives us the best opportunity to create a fun, competitive and worthwhile season for all our kids!
ℹ️ This format will apply to our:
👉 Year 1/2
👉 Year 3/4
👉 Year 5/6
We know some players may feel a little unsure about the change, so if you or your child have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Sarah via the CCTA email and she’ll provide support wherever she can. 💙

📣 JNR COMP - MIXED LAYOUT📣
⏳ The mixed games will be run directly after the boys / girls games relevant to their divisions.
💁🏽Example - YR 3/4 boys play timeslot 4.15pm, Yr 3/4 Mixed is then played straight after, in the next timeslot at 4.45pm.
ℹ In doing this, we are continuing our competitions normal layout of working through our age divisions per timeslot, where possible.
❗If you're child is interested, please register, so we can work toward finalising our draw / timeslots.

‼️ JNR COMP ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️
There is a lot happening behind the scenes prior to the kick off of our 2026 Jnr Season.
📣 This year we will be offering a little bit more than normal!!
🏈 For all players registered in a boys / girls team - they will now also be eligible to play mixed within their same division. Example - Plays YR3/4 Girls - eligible for YR3/4 Mixed.
💲 This will be at NO extra cost.
ℹ️ If this interests your child then please complete the registration below - There are separate links, so make sure you register into correction division for your child.
ℹ️ Once kids have registered - depending on numbers - I will then split into teams. This information will then be sent out.
🙅🏽♀️ If all interest/registrations could be done by - Sunday 30th Aug - That way a draw can be created.

Saturday 31st October & Sunday November 1st.
PLEASE NOTE: This applies to all current CCTA registered players only.
🎯 To be eligible for CCTA to pay your team nomination - teams MUST represent CCTA. Example - CCTA Sapphires
💲 Team nomination fee - $200
👥 Max players per team = 14
🏈 Divisions - U10s - U17s
⚠️ Mixed teams are to nominate into boys aged divisions
📣📣 It is the responsibility of the team manager / coach of each team to hand/send their up-to-date Team Registration form to Michelle at Rocky Touch prior to their first game on the day. Email; [email protected].
ℹ️ CCTA will organise team nominations money - so this needs to be finalised (on our end) 1 week prior to Carnival taking place. NO LATER.
ℹ️ Nomination forms need to be emailed to CCTA; [email protected] by Friday 9th October, so CCTA members to have everything in place for Michelle (Rocky Touch), so there's no delay from our end on creating a draw.

🏉 Capricorn Coast Touch Association is heading to the 2026 QLD Senior State Cup! 🏉
For the first time in our association's history, Capricorn Coast Touch Association is looking to send representative teams to the 2026 Queensland Senior State Cup, to be held at Kawana, Sunshine Coast, from 27–29 November 2026.
Under 20 Men's (Born in or between 2006 and 2011)
