BREAKING NEWS

🚛 VIVAZ NATURA ARRIVES AT MELBOURNE GUN CLUB IN NOVEMBER!

But how did we choose Vivaz Natura supplied by Top Shot Industries Australia we didn’t make this decision overnight. We’ve been listening to feedback from our members and visiting shooters, and we wanted to make sure our next target selection was based on performance, not just word of mouth or price!

🎯 SEVEN TARGET TYPES. FOUR MANUFACTURERS. 13 EXPERIENCED SHOOTERS.

We conducted a blind comparison of seven different target types from four manufacturers. Participants assessed each target without knowing which brand they were testing, focusing on three key areas:

💨 FLIGHT — how the targets flew and presented in the air.

💥 BREAKABILITY — how the targets performed when hit.

👁️ COLOUR — visibility and presentation against our background.

The results were assessed across all three categories, and Vivaz Natura came out as the clear overall winner!

📅 ARRIVING NOVEMBER

This is another step in our ongoing commitment to improving target presentation, investing in our facilities and equipment, and giving members and visiting shooters the best possible experience.

🏆 OUR GOAL IS SIMPLE:

🎯 THE BEST CLUB THROWING THE BEST TARGETS! 🎯

Stay tuned for more updates! 💪

🎯🏆 WHAT A DAY AT MELBOURNE GUN CLUB! 🏆🎯

The feedback from yesterday’s South East Zone DTL Carnival has been fantastic, and the scores were absolutely incredible!

🏆 MELBOURNE GUN CLUB WON THE TEAMS EVENT WITH A RECORD SCORE OF 246/250!

A huge congratulations to our MGC team:

🎯 Chloe Hughes Gage — 50/50
🎯 Damien Appleby — 50/50
🎯 Riley Hughes Gage — 50/50
🎯 Ben de Pedro — 49/50
🎯 Craig Henwood — 47/50 😂

Three perfect 50s in the team! The President might have been dragging the chain a little while running around helping keep the event moving!

👏 A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR INDIVIDUAL WINNERS!

🥇 Riley Hughes Gage — Handicap Winner!

🥇 Chloe Hughes Gage — Junior High Gun AND Ladies High Gun!

🥇 Wally Kotlarewski — B Grade Winner in Single Barrel!

Fantastic shooting by all three — well deserved!

🎯 THE SCORES ACROSS THE DAY WERE OUTSTANDING!

🔥 Handicap: 27 possibles from 175 entrants, including FOUR shooters off 25 metres with the shoot off going another 67 targets in the shoot-off!

🔥 Double Barrel: 57 possibles from 175 competitors.

🔥 Single Barrel: 16 possibles.

🔥 Point Score: 13 possibles.

🏆 Two shooters shot their entire card clean for the day!

The number of outstanding scores, the happy shooters and the conversations happening around the club made yesterday a fantastic day for Melbourne Gun Club.

Over recent months, the committee has been working hard behind the scenes to improve our facilities, upgrade equipment, fine-tune our traps and listen to feedback from our shooters.

It’s incredibly rewarding to see that hard work recognised and to hear so many positive comments from competitors.

👀🎯 AND THERE’S MORE TO COME!

We’ve been working on our target program, and we’ll have more to share about our target brand going forward shortly. Stay tuned!

A massive thank you to everyone who competed, our volunteers, sponsors and all those who worked behind the scenes to make the carnival such a success.

To our committee and members who have put in the hours to keep improving the club, yesterday was a day to be proud of.

We’re listening, we’re investing and we’re continually striving to make Melbourne Gun Club better.

Congratulations to all our winners and competitors on some outstanding shooting!

THE BEST OF MGC IS STILL AHEAD OF US! 💪🎯
