🥩 VOLUNTEERS WANTED – FRIDAY NIGHT MEAT TRAY RAFFLES! 🔴⚫️

Our famous meat trays are a big hit with the patrons at Club Yeronga, and we want to keep them coming throughout the off-season until December!

We’re looking for volunteers to help run the Friday night raffles. It’s a simple but valuable way to support the Devils, give back to Club Yeronga and keep the good times rolling for their patrons.

🍻 A little thank you for our volunteers! The club will provide a $20 voucher per volunteer to use towards a drink or meal at Club Yeronga, with a maximum of three vouchers per shift.

🔥 Join Our Volunteer Team for the Youi Community BBQ! 🔥

We’ve been given an exciting opportunity to run the Youi Community BBQ at the upcoming Round 8 AFLW Brisbane Lions v Gold Coast Suns game, and we need your help to make it a massive success!

Bring the family down to watch the game and help out with a shift at the BBQ stall! It's a fantastic fundraising opportunity for our club, but we need a full team to pull it off.

📅 Event Details:

Date: Saturday, 3 October
Game: Round 8 AFLW Brisbane Lions v Gold Coast Suns
Location: Brighton Homes Arena
Gates Open: 4:00 PM
Game Time: 5:05 PM

⏰ Volunteer Shift Times:
Set Up Time: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
BBQ Service Times: 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Bump Out: From 7:30 PM

🙌 How You Can Help:
We are looking for volunteers for the following roles:

Grill Masters (18+ only): Cooking up sausages on the BBQ.
Prep & Service (15+ minimum): Serving up sausages, bread, and onions.
Sales & Cashiers (15+ minimum): Handling food and drink sales
Bump Out Crew: Helping pack down after service.

Even if you can only spare a few hours during a shift, we’d love to have you!

Our inaugural Jono Jennings Medalist: Isaac Ortiz.

The award is presented at the senior club B&F awards and named after Jono Jennings, a former Yeronga Junior who played over 230 senior club games before retiring at the end of this season.

Voted on by players from their U17 team, this award recognises the teammate who best represented what we stand for, both on and off the field, throughout the year.

It’s about the teammate who lived our values, upheld our standards and embodied what it means to be a Yeronga Devil.

We couldn’t have a more deserving winner. Congratulations, Isaac!
