Violet was a wonderful woman, living to the ripe old age of 98 😮

I’ve been teaching yoga for over 20 years and I feel these days yoga students are becoming more and more precious.
Everything has to be perfect for them to enjoy the class.
Everything from the temperature of the room to the music that you play.

I’ve had some students complain that the room is too cold, while other students in the same class, say the room is too hot.
I’ve had students walk out of my class, because it wasn’t to their liking.

When I was just a student, I would never complain to the teacher or if i didn’t like the class, I would never leave the class, because you can always learn something from somebody else.
Sometimes you just have to deal with a bit of discomfort and even if something is not perfect for you, persevering with it, may give you more benefit than you actually expected.

I really enjoy being a yoga teacher, but sometimes it’s a really hard gig and it’s impossible to please everyone.

Padang Padang beach, Uluwatu 🏄‍♂️ ☀️

Spent my 2nd week in Bali here, such a beautiful spot. I stayed at ‘The Room Padang Padang’ a 2 minute walk from the beach 😊

Always love my stay at ‘Ubud Aura Retreat Centre’ 🧘🏽‍♂️😊

The staff are so welcoming, the rooms are comfortable, the pool is beautiful and the breakfast is awesome.
Right next to the Yoga Barn for easy access to classes. 🧘🏽‍♂️

Plus the spa here is so good, I had a 3 hour Lymphatic massage with body scrub, herb bath and facial today with Rikta, she was so good, can’t recommend enough. ❤️❤️

Off to Uluwatu tomorrow 🏄‍♂️
