Saturday 19 September 2026 – Winter Wind‑Up (3‑Stick Ambrose)

A cracking finish to our Winter Season with a fun 3‑Stick Ambrose, plenty of laughs, and some very creative club selections out on course. Some nailed the strategy… others discovered very quickly that three sticks can feel like one too few. A great day all round.

⛳ Yorketown Results — 13th September
Brenton & Dunetown Cup – First Leg

The first leg of the Dunetown Cup was held at The Copperclub, where testing conditions made for a challenging but memorable day of golf. The Copperclub team handled the conditions superbly and will take a generous lead into the return match at Yorketown Golf Club on Sunday, October 11.
Both clubs now look ahead to the decider, with plenty still to play for and a great day of golf expected at Yorketown.

Congratulations to Henry Kielpinski taking home the Brenton Cup with the best Stableford score from Yorketown Golf Club. also, well done to Harry Mills for a good score on the day but he was unable to take home the cup. Well done to all it was afun day & Great job, Copper Club for the well-run event

We had cool and windy conditions for Saturday’s Stableford, making scoring a little tougher across the course — but a few handled it beautifully.

⛳ YPGGA CHAMPIONSHIPS – ARDROSSAN
We had a few of our men away on Saturday, proudly representing Yorketown Golf Club at the YPGGA Championships in Ardrossan.
While we didn’t come home with a win this time, the effort and commitment were outstanding.
A big thank‑you to Ed Hack and Seb for all your hard work to get there and fly the Yorketown colours.
And thank you to Ardrossan Golf Club for hosting a great day — always appreciated.
