is the oldest sporting goods specialist on the island and distributor of ADIDAS, the brand known for its' famous three stripes. The store opened its' doors in 1968 in Schelpstraat and moved to its' current location in Emmastraat # 5 in 1997. Founder, Harry Janssen, a former Dutch national track-and-field champion in middle distances 800 and 1500 meters, is still running the store together with his daughter Monique. Although Sport Caribe is mostly known as simply "the Adidas store", it also carries other famous brands like Wilson, Rawlings and TYR. Sport Caribe offers a wide variety of articles for baseball, softball, swimming, fitness, tennis and basketball and has an impressive collection of soccer balls. In additon, Sport Caribe sells sports trophies, medals and plaques which can be engraved, and strings and repairs tennisrackets as well. Opening hours are from 9 to 6, from Monday through Saturday.
