Caribbean Nationals 🇦🇼🇨🇼 Recap:

Super Sonic Dragster made a remarkable return to the track after several years of absence.

🛠️Thursday – Test & Tune:
The team faced electrical issues that cut the session short. Despite the setback, quick diagnostics and repairs had us ready for race day.

🏆Raceday 1 (Friday):
With all systems go, the dragster ran flawlessly—securing 1st place in the Box category and marking a triumphant comeback.

⚠️Raceday 2 (Saturday):
The car was on another strong run. However, during the semi-final matchup, a section of the flywheel broke off mid-run, puncturing the chassis and severing ignition wiring—shutting the car down just past the 1,000-ft mark.
Miraculously, we coasted across the finish line with a narrow win of just 0.006 seconds. Thankfully, no one was injured. However, due to safety concerns and the extent of the damage, we were unable to compete in the finals, finishing the day as runner-up.

💪🏻La Riandra Jr. Dragster also took to the track, competing in the Do It Center Jr. Dragster Points Series on both days. She gave a determined performance as she continues her pursuit of the championship title.

🥳A special shoutout goes to our young friend Ri-Jean, who captured his first-ever national event win on Friday in his Don’t Panic Racing / Shadow Jr. Dragster!
He’s clearly got the heart—and talent—of a future champion.

Race season is back and so is the team! Last weekend the Aruba Nationals kicked off, and a few of our members hit the track again.

We had the return of the man himself, Mr. T—Tico Danies with his white Camaro, Riandra Brete with her Jr. Dragster, Jorrick Rosel with the white Starlet, and Ri Jean Gomez with his Jr. Dragster.

Friday night ended with Riandra taking 1st place in the Jr. Dragster category, and Saturday night Jorrick took 1st place in the No Box category.
