Every child develops at their own pace. Don’t rush the process and don’t put unnecessary pressure on them. If the talent is there, their time will come.

Believe in them. Support them. Ask questions and give them the opportunity to find their own answers.

From the sideline, avoid constantly telling them where to run, what to do, who to pass to, or how to play. Children need space to think, make decisions, make mistakes and learn.

Good coaching develops the player.
