Just 2 weeks to go for the Aruba International Regatta 2019! On Friday Aug 16 there will be Lionfish happy hour at Surfside Beach Bar, On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 there will be the races in Oranjestad City Harbour. A new course lay out will provide new challenges for the sailors in the big boats and in the small boats. Counting Down!

ABC ISLANDS: CODE YELLOW...STRONGER WINDS COULD LEAD TO ROUGH SEAS WITH WAVES UP TO 2.5 METERS HIGH AT THE NORTHERN SHORES OF THE LOCAL ISLANDS!

ISLAS ABC: CODIGO AMARILLO... VIENTOS MAS FUERTES PODRIAN CONLLEVAR A FUERTE OLEAJE CON OLAS DE HASTA 2.5-3 METROS DE ALTURA EN LAS COSTAS DEL NORTE DE LAS ISLAS LOCALES!

Later this morning the winds will rapidly pick up as the weather improves and the local islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao could locally have wind gusts up to force 7, that is around 61 km/h with waves that could reach the 2.5 meters high at the northern shores of the islands. Because of this, users of small craft and swimmers are advised to be cautious at mainly the northern shores of the islands. These conditions are expected to continue in the next days.

Durante la mañana, los vientos aumentarán rápidamente a medida que mejoren las condiciones del tiempo y las islas locales de Aruba, Bonaire y Curazao podrían tener de manera localizada ráfagas de viento de hasta fuerza 7, es decir unos 61 Km/h con olas que pueden alcanzar los 2.5 metros de altura en las costas del norte de las islas. Debido a esto, se les aconseja a los usuarios de pequeñas embarcaciones y a los nadadores tener cuidado sobre todo en las costas del norte de las islas.
