Last Saturday, April 25th, Estrella Taekwondo & Martial Arts Foundation took the mat at the "Campeonato Nacional," organized by the Aruba Taekwondo Association (ARTBO).

First and foremost, we thank God Almighty for providing our entire team with the strength and guidance throughout our preparation and competition. 🙏

To our athletes: You fought like true warriors. With brave hearts and relentless spirit, you gave it your all on the mat.

Under the leadership of Coach Nicole Tromp, the fighters demonstrated determination, while the Poomsae athletes showcased a strong balance of technique, precision, and control.

Estrella Taekwondo Athletes Return Successfully from Training Camp in Curaçao

Recently, the athletes of the Estrella Taekwondo & Martial Arts Foundation concluded their participation in the successful "Taekwondo Training Camp Curaçao 2026," held from Thursday, March 24, to March 29. It was an intense week, and our athletes showed great discipline and significantly improved their performance.

During this camp, athletes were exposed to high-level training methods, acquiring new combat techniques and advanced tactics. It was a unique learning experience directly from world-class masters such as Jesus Tortosa Cabrera and Mónica Urrego. Our athletes also had the chance to share and train alongside international athletes from Aruba, Curaçao, Colombia, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, and the USA.

In addition to the physical training, participants received an update on the new Taekwondo rules from Olympic referee Mr. Guillermo Rodríguez. This was fundamental to staying up to date with the sport's international requirements.

Closing Competition
The Training Camp culminated in grand fashion with a final competition, in which all our athletes gave their maximum effort in their bouts. It was the perfect moment to put all the new knowledge and tactics into practice, demonstrating the progress and talent possessed by our Estrella Taekwondo Aruba team.
