One final performance. One more medal!

Our Artistic Swimming Team closed the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games with bronze in the Team Acrobatic Routine, bringing their incredible total to 7 medals: 2 silver and 5 bronze! 🥈🥈🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉

A huge congratulations to Kim,Janneke, Nakaylee, Khloë, Marjaiose and Kendra on an outstanding championship! 🇦🇼✨

And what a CAC Games it has been for Aruba Aquatics! Of the 11 medals won by Aruba, 9 came from our aquatic sports:

🏊 Swimming — 2 Bronze
✨ Artistic Swimming — 2 Silver & 5 Bronze

And there was so much more: National Records, personal bests, finals and three incredibly close 4th-place finishes for Britta Schwengle, Elisabeth Timmer and Patrick Groters.

We are especially proud knowing that this is a young group of athletes with so much still ahead of them — including 14-year-old Khloë, the youngest athlete of these Games!

The Aruba Aquatics Federation is incredibly proud of all our athletes and coaches. You represented our island with passion, determination and pride.

Day 3 of the artistic swimming competition at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games brought two more bronze medals for Aruba!

The day started with Kim Deiman and Janneke Dirven returning to the pool for the Women’s Duet Free Routine. With a strong and beautifully executed performance, the duo earned 209.5225 points to secure bronze and another place on the podium! 🥉

And the medals didn't stop there!

In the afternoon, Team Aruba took on the Team Mixed Free Routine, delivering another strong performance and scoring 152.4682 points to capture another bronze medal! 🥉🇦🇼

That brings Aruba's artistic swimming medal count to an incredible SIX medals in just three days of competition! 🔥

What a Day 2 for Aruba at the artistic swimming competition of the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games!

After two bronze medals on the opening day, our artistic swimmers returned to the pool today and added two silver medals to Aruba's medal tally! 🥈🥈

In the morning, Kim Deiman and Janneke Dirven delivered an impressive performance in the Women’s Duet Technical Routine. Competing against the best duets from across the Central American and Caribbean region, they scored 233.7816 points to secure an outstanding 2nd place and the silver medal! 🇦🇼

And Kim wasn't done yet!

In the afternoon, Kim Deiman returned to the pool for the Women’s Solo Free Routine. With another beautiful and powerful performance, she earned 198.9001 points and captured her second silver medal of the day! 🥈

Two performances. Two silver medals. What an incredible day for Aruba! 🇦🇼

With four medals in just two days of competition, our artistic swimmers continue to showcase their talent, artistry, technical skill, and determination on the regional stage.

What an incredible opening day for Team Aruba at the artistic swimming competition of the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games!

Our athletes delivered outstanding performances in the Technical events, bringing home two bronze medals and making Aruba proud on the regional stage.

🥉 Kim Deiman captured the bronze medal in the Women's Solo Technical Routine, earning an impressive 210.1583 points with a performance that combined precision, artistry, and elegance.

🥉 The celebrations continued as Team Aruba claimed another bronze medal in the Team Technical Routine, showcasing exceptional synchronization, creativity, and teamwork to secure again a place on the podium for Aruba.

With the swimming competition now concluded, it is time for the next chapter of Aruba Aquatics at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.

Today, our Artistic Swimming Team departed for Santo Domingo, where they will proudly join TEAMARU and represent Aruba on the regional stage.

The competition begins on August 5, and our athletes are ready to showcase the creativity, athleticism, and teamwork that define artistic swimming.

The final day of the swimming competition at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games once again showcased the strength and determination of Team Aruba.

🥉 Patrick Groters closed his championship in spectacular fashion, winning his second bronze medal of the Games in the 200m Backstroke while setting a new Aruban National Record of 1:59.91—becoming the first Aruban swimmer to break the two-minute barrier in the event.

⭐ Avi Tromp reached yet another A Final, finishing an excellent 6th in the 50m Butterfly with a time of 27.65.

⭐ Mikaela van den Berg competed in the B Final of the 50m Butterfly, finishing 7th in 29.02.

⭐ Inald Fernandes Perna placed 10th overall in the 200m Freestyle, touching the wall in 1:54.07.

⭐ Ocean van Loon concluded his championship with a 9th-place finish in the 200m Backstroke, clocking 2:15.43.

As the swimming competition comes to a close, Team Aruba can look back on an exceptional championship filled with medals, National Records, personal bests, finals, and countless memorable performances.

History continues to be written at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games!

Patrick Groters claimed his second bronze medal of the Games, this time in the 200m Backstroke, with another sensational performance.

Not only did Patrick earn his second place on the podium, he also broke his own Aruban National Record, becoming the first Aruban swimmer ever to break the two-minute barrier in the event with an outstanding 1:59.91.

Day 4 of the swimming competition at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games will be remembered as another outstanding day for Team Aruba.

🥉 Patrick Groters led the way by winning Aruba's first medal of the Games, claiming bronze in the 100m Backstroke while setting a new Aruban National Record of 54.83.

⭐ Britta Schwengle swam another strong race in the 400m Freestyle, finishing 9th with an excellent personal best of 4:32.13.

⭐ Elisabeth Timmer continued her impressive championship with a 2nd-place finish in the B Final of the 100m Backstroke, touching the wall in 1:05.58—just 0.12 seconds shy of her Aruban National Record.

⭐ During the morning session, Aruba's Mixed 4x100m Freestyle Relay finished 10th. Leading off the relay, Inald Fernandes Perna swam a new personal best of 50.41 in the 100m Freestyle.

⭐ Ocean van Loon qualified for the B Final of the 100m Backstroke but was unfortunately disqualified during the evening session.

Another day of medals, personal bests, and outstanding performances across the team. Our swimmers continue to improve with every race and proudly represent Aruba on the regional stage.
