Aruba Golf Club

Aruba Golf Club, where golfing and love for nature melt together! Aruba Golf Club exists since 1939, however how the course is now is since 1941. Ivan Arndell.

The club was founded by employees of LAGO Aruba (the oil company at that time). When in 1986 LAGO was closed, they have donated the golf course and clubhouse to the 'people of San Nicolas'. Since then the Golf Course and Club is being managed by a manager, at this moment, Mr. The Board of Directors for 2013 - 2015:

* Nadine Willems-Antersijn as Secretary
* Edna Farro as Treasurer
* George Hoek as Board member
* Ronny Brown as Board member

It is with a saddened heart that we announce the passing away of our Club President, Mr. Bobbie Miller a.k.a. the Snake Man.

The battle was short but hard.

Rest In Peace Bobbie 🙏🏽 until we meet again.

Today we lay to rest a friend of Aruba Golf Club and of many golfers in Aruba.

"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more game of golf. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we will begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life, your laughter and jokes gave us memories not to forget"

We lost a happy golfer! Aruba Golf Club mourns the death of a golfer friend, someone that is always noticeable present because of his jokes, his laughter. RIP Juni Martinus. You will be greatly missed by many.
