✨ Meet Dayenne — the smile that welcomes you at Empower Arts! ✨

Part of our dance family since the age of 5 (back in the Kozlov Dance Academy days!), Dayenne has grown into a shining member of Team Empower Arts. Known for her positive energy and warm smile, she now helps welcome our students and families at the front desk and in our dance shop.

Her passion for dance and performance continues to shine on stage, as she actively performs with Empower Arts and in various musical and theatrical productions across the island — all while studying at Colegio Arubano.

Today we celebrate love, friendship, and the joy of dance that brings our community together. Wishing all our dancers and families a beautiful day filled with love and happiness!

✨ Meet part of our amazing Empower Arts instructor team! ✨

Cloé-Margeaux van den Berg began dancing with us at just 3 years old and grew through every level, performing in many classical productions, including The Nutcracker. A passionate Carnival participant and three-time Dancing Queen, she started as an assistant teacher and is now one of our beloved instructors. Her love for dance and connection with students shine through every class. Cloé-Margeaux is currently a student at Schakel College.

Samantha Aponte joined the academy after moving to Aruba at age 10 and quickly became an important part of our performances, often dancing solo roles. She later expanded her experience performing with local dance groups and has now been an instructor with Empower Arts for two years. Samantha recently introduced new choreography and dance styles to our advanced students and also supports families at the front desk. She currently studies at the University of Aruba and brings great energy to our team.

We are proud to have instructors who grew within our academy and now inspire the next generation of dancers every day 💃✨

Meet Our Founder & Head Instructor, Adriana Cereste 🌟

Adriana Cereste discovered her love for dance at just four years old, quickly finding her place on stage. After building a strong foundation in ballet, she expanded her training into multiple dance styles while pursuing her studies in the BFA Dance Program at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.

Adriana went on to perform professionally, dancing leading roles in well-known ballet classics and receiving praise from The New York Times and other notable publications. In recent years, she has embraced contemporary dance, exploring new forms of movement and expression.

Since moving to Aruba, Adriana has become an active member of the local artistic community, performing in events such as Festival Un Canto pa Aruba, Himno y Bandera celebrations, World Theater Day, and Aruba Art Fair, while also collaborating with local musicians and artists. One of her proudest moments was performing for the Dutch Royal Family during their visit to Aruba.

As a teacher and mentor, Adriana believes in nurturing the whole dancer — combining technical training with creativity, self-expression, and confidence. Her approach helps students grow not only as performers but as confident individuals both on and off stage.

Empower Arts – Academy of Dance is the realization of Adriana’s lifelong dream: creating a welcoming and supportive space where dancers of all ages can learn, grow, and experience the joy of dance. Through her vision and leadership, she continues to build a vibrant community united by passion and love for the art.
