Big news from Poland: The Swiss National Team, with Reto Gaudenzi serving as National Team Manager – and also the driving force behind the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz – secured a thrilling 8–6 win against France in their latest match. 🥇🔥

This victory not only showcases the strength and determination of the Swiss team but also highlights the international polo spirit that connects us all – from the green fields of Europe to the snowy stage of St. Moritz. ❄️✨

Congratulations to the Swiss players and their manager, Reto Gaudenzi, for this fantastic achievement. We’ll be keeping a close eye on their journey in Poland!

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend and member of the Advisory Board of Evviva Polo St. Moritz AG, Peter A.C. Blum. His warm and cheerful manner will be greatly missed by us all. We wish his family much comfort, strength and confidence for the difficult time ahead.

Congratulations Evviva Polo St. Moritz Team! This year's Polo Rider Cup took place from 14 - 24 June at the Polo Club St. Tropez and brought together the best polo clubs worldwide. Our quartet with Swiss captain Tommy Rinderknecht, Ignacio Kennedy (ARG), Martin Aguerre Hijo (ARG) and Valentin Farinati (ITA) played an excellent tournament and won the 3rd place. The team was only eliminated in the semi-finals against the eventual winners, the Polo Saint-Tropez team. Piero Dillier, reigning FIP & Evviva Polo St. Moritz President (on the far right of the photo next to T. Rinderknecht) was also a guest. Well done!

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland, H.E. Massimo Baggi, Swiss Ambassador to the UAE and Bahrain, in collaboration with World Polo GmbH, organised a polo friendship game in Dubai. This took place on Sunday 19 March 2023 at Ali Albwardy's Desert Palm Polo Club. The match was won by Team Dubai, who defeated Team St. Moritz/ Switzerland by 5 goals to 3.

The original idea came from Ambassador Massimo Baggi, himself a passionate polo player. He decided to present it to his long-time friend Reto Gaudenzi. Gaudenzi, founder of the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz & CEO of World Polo GmbH, was immediately enthusiastic and spontaneously agreed to support Baggi with his organisation in the planning and implementation of the game. The extraordinary project quickly aroused the interest of Marijana Jakic, Brand Manager St. Moritz & Member of the Management Board ESTM. The destination used the high-calibre platform as the main sponsor to perfectly showcase St. Moritz's unique diversity in this important market. In addition, the two event partners SWISS and Switzerland Tourism were also on hand to invite their partners, tour operators and customers to the event.

We are very pleased to announce that Piero Dillier, President of Evviva Polo St. Moritz Ltd, the parent company of Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, has been elected President of the Federation of International Polo FIP. Congratulations!

This week, the first full-size grass polo field in Azerbaijan was inaugurated with a friendly match between America and Azerbaijan. The two teams also had a lot of fun going out.

Austria is the winner of the II FIP Arena Polo European Championship in Baku/AZE. 2nd place went to Spain. 3rd place went to the local team from Azerbaijan. Switzerland follows in 4th place.
