On December 4, 2025, an international seminar on the Alpagut martial art was held in , . This seminar was organized by Kutsan Vasif Namazov, the founder of Alpagut, and was met with significant interest from athletes, coaches, and representatives from sports federations.
During the seminar, participants were thoroughly briefed on the competition rules and officiating guidelines ahead of the . This information is crucial for ensuring fair and proper management during . It was acknowledged that understanding these competition rules correctly will help enhance participants' performance.
At the same time, a terminology examination was conducted during the seminar. This examination aims to familiarize participants with the essential concepts and terms of Alpagut, providing them with the opportunity to acquire a deeper understanding of the martial art.
Kutsan Vasif Namazov emphasized the importance of the Alpagut martial art and its value in the modern sports world during the seminar. The outcomes of the seminar will positively contribute to the global proliferation and development of Alpagut, playing a significant role in passing this martial art on to new generations.

The 5th World Alpagut Championship held in Bursa has concluded. The champion of the tournament was Türkiye. Organized under the leadership of the World Alpagut Federation and the Turkish Alpagut Representation, the championship took place at Uludağ University Faculty of Sports Sciences with the participation of 450 athletes from 19 countries, showcasing remarkable performances.
The opening ceremony was attended by notable figures such as Prof. Dr. Ramiz Arabacı, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Uludağ University, İYİ Party Bursa Deputy Selçuk Türkoğlu, Yıldırım District Governor Metin Esen, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Metin Tuncel, Nilüfer Municipality Council Member Hamit Şenocak, AK Party Bursa Provincial Vice Chairman Yunus Sever, and Provincial Administrator Cevat Koç. Other attendees included CHP Bursa Provincial Deputy Chairmen İlhan Çetin and Ali Fuat Acar, İYİ Party Bursa Provincial Political Affairs Chairman Eyüp Ceylan, İYİ Party Bursa Provincial Youth Policies Chairman İskender Kandemir, President of the Balkan Immigrants Association Prof. Dr. Emin Balkan, and President of the Azerbaijan Innovation and Solidarity Association Latife Nağdalıyeva along with board members. The event also saw the participation of Emil Rahimov, President of the World Alpagut Federation, Kutsan Vasif Namazov, Chairman of the Board of the World Alpagut Federation and Founder of the World Alpagut Federation (Turan Martial Art), Yunus Arabacı, Board Member and Technical Director of the 5th World Championship, and Metin Karadeniz, Official Representative of the World Alpagut Federation Türkiye. They wished success to the athletes contributing to the championship.
