DREAMLAND & ANKARA GOLF CLUB FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENT

On April 17th and 18th, we were very happy to welcome our friends from Ankara Golf Club to Dreamland. On the second day, we held a friendly tournament with 24 players from Ankara and 28 players from Dreamland.
Even though it was a bit cold and windy, everyone played great and had a lot of fun on the course!
How the Winners Were Chosen: We played a Team vs Team event. We took the top best 16 individual scores from the Dreamland team and the top best 16 scores from the Ankara team. The club with the highest total points was the winner.
Individual Winners: Well done to our top performers:

· 1st Place: Alan Newbigging – 35 pts (Won on a countback)
· 2nd Place: Ekrem Alimci – 35 pts
· 3rd Place: Hakan Kaya – 34 pts (Won on a countback)
· 4th Place: Michael Yu – 34 pts
· 5th Place: Murat Kutay – 33 pts (Won on a countback)

Final Team Scores: It was a very close match, but Dreamland took the win at home!
· Dreamland Golf Club: 479 points
· Ankara Golf Club: 461 points

The SOCAR CAPE Novruz Trophy 2026 was a huge success with 33 players enjoying two perfect sunny days at Dreamland Golf Club. We felt the true spirit of spring! Special thanks to Ilqar Ahmadov and everyone who supported us.

The main winners were determined based on 2-day combined scores, alongside exciting side contests on both days.
