She was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and her love for dogs and animals began at an early age. At the age of fourteen, she welcomed her first dog, a Dobermann female, marking the beginning of what would become a lifelong involvement in cynology.

Her passion for the dog show world started in 1991, when she attended her first dog show. From that moment, dogs, breeding and exhibitions became an important part of her life.

In 2007, Aleksandra acquired her first Bullmastiff and became a member of the BKS. She later established her kennel “Ragg Dreams”, dedicated to breeding Bullmastiffs and Yorkshire Terriers.

Over the years, she successfully exhibited her dogs at numerous dog shows, achieving notable results while continuously expanding her knowledge and experience in breeding, breed standards and canine conformation.

In 2009, Aleksandra began her career as a canine judge by passing her first judging examination for breeds of FCI Group II. Through continued education, practical experience and further examinations, she progressively expanded her judging qualifications.

Today, Aleksandra Ragg is an International FCI Judge licensed to judge breeds from FCI Groups I, II, III, IV and V.

Her many years of involvement in cynology as an owner, breeder, exhibitor and judge have provided her with extensive experience and a broad understanding of different breeds and their characteristics.

I have been involved in cynology since childhood, thanks to my grandparents, with whom I grew up. It was from them that I received my first dog – a Jagdterrier.

Since 1982, I have owned and shown German Shepherd Dogs and Dobermanns. Soon afterwards, I developed a great passion for Bull-type breeds, particularly the American Staffordshire Terrier and the Bull Terrier.

In 1987, I established the De Mandraka Kennel, which was registered as the first kennel dedicated to the American Staffordshire Terrier in the former Yugoslavia and was also among the first kennels of this breed in Europe. The first two American Staffordshire Terrier females imported into the former Czechoslovakia came from my kennel. In the early years of the breed’s development in Europe, dogs and bi***es bred under the De Mandraka affix could be found throughout the continent and contributed significantly to the development and establishment of many kennels.

In 2008, I became actively involved in breeding Boston Terriers. Over the years, De Mandraka Kennel has achieved numerous successes, producing National Champions, International Champions, Specialty and Club Show Winners, as well as European and World Winners.

I have been a conformation judge since 1991 and I am currently an FCI All-Round Judge.

During the 1990s, I served as President of the first Serbian club for American Staffordshire Terriers and Bull Terriers. For many years, I was also a member of the Presidium of the Serbian Kennel Club.

I am currently President of KD Vojvodina Kennel Club, which organizes national and international dog shows every year.

FCI Allround Judge & Breeder
I was born in 1959 in Mileševo, Serbia. My dedication to German Shepherd Dogs began in 1973, and I participated in my first dog show in 1978 in Bačka Topola (CACIB).
In 1988, I founded my FCI-registered kennel “Vom Haus Mileševac” (FCI 2388).
Under this kennel name, I have bred numerous high-quality German Shepherd Dogs that achieved outstanding national and international results – from young class winners up to VA titles. My breeding groups have been awarded Best Breeding Group in several countries.
I first presented a dog at the BSZS World Championship in Karlsruhe in 1991, with my female Fani vom Haus Mileševac. Later, at the BSZS in Nuremberg, I achieved notable results with Otis (SG16) and Darsi (SG21), along with many other successful dogs throughout my career.
I obtained my judging license in 2002 for German Shepherd Dogs and the FCI Group 1. Over the years, I completed all 10 FCI groups, and in 2019 I became an FCI Allround Judge. I have judged extensively in my home country and worldwide, including national German Shepherd championships, often alongside renowned SV judges. I regularly judge at national and international dog shows across all breeds.
For eight years, I served as Breeding Supervisor of the Serbian German Shepherd Club. In 2013, I founded the Mileševo Kennel Club, where I continue to serve as president.
Since 2009, I have been President of the Serbian German Shepherd FCI Club and a Körung (breeding survey) judge. I have also been a council member of the Serbian Kennel Club for ten years.
