Each team has four players on the field at a time, with substitutes available.

Teams aim to score by throwing the ball into the opposing team's goal. Different types of goals are awarded different points. The most points that can be scored per shot is 2.

The victorious National Beach Handball Team 🤾🏾‍♂️🇧🇧 after their match against Dominica 🏆

It’s impossible to mention handball in Barbados and ignore the impact that the Cave Hill Campus has had on the sport.

It’s where club handball got it’s start and many of the national players and coaches are alumni of the university if not a part of club.

Here we have the national team who recently returned from a 7-day training camp aboard Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of The Seas. 🚢

There were 3 days of training in different islands leading up to their friendly against Dominica 🇩🇲 from which they emerged victorious🏆

Our very own Andre Moore (Assistant Coach) and Rommel Richards (Goalkeeper) were a part of the squad.

Did you know that U.W.I is one of the first local clubs founded in Barbados? 🤾🏾‍♂️🇧🇧

Back in 2014, a group of passionate athletes came together to form a club that would represent our community in handball.

Here we have U.W.I in yellow and Pelicanz Handball in black - the other founding team on the island which also started at U.W.I.
