TC BROUGHT THE HEAT TO GOLDEN SOCA!

Barbadian soca powerhouse TC had the Golden Soca crowd singing and moving as she delivered her 2009 Party Monarch-winning hit, “Hot Sun and Riddim.”

A familiar voice in Barbados’ soca landscape, TC reminded fans why her music continues to hold a special place in Crop Over history.

From the first note, the energy was high as patrons sang along and celebrated another classic from one of Barbados’ well-known female soca artistes.

Golden Soca was all about the memories, the music and the artistes who helped shape the sound of Crop Over!

TEMPTED TO TOUCH!
Barbadian soca star Rupee had the Golden Soca crowd moving as he performed his global smash hit, “Tempted to Touch.”

Rupee has taken Bajan soca far beyond our shores, building an impressive international career with favourites such as “Ice Cream,” “Jump,” “Blame It on de Music” and, of course, “Tempted to Touch.”

His success led to a worldwide recording deal with Atlantic Records, while “Tempted to Touch” made its mark on the Billboard Hot 100, helping to introduce his distinctive Bajan sound to audiences around the world.

At Golden Soca, Rupee reminded us exactly why he remains one of Barbados’ most internationally recognised soca artistes, as the crowd sang and moved along to a Caribbean classic.
