After posting an imposing 307 for 5, they proved far too strong, bowling out College Savannah for 178 to seal a convincing victory.

With that contest decided, attention now shifts firmly to the centre stage. The final is moments away from getting underway, and it will be Kendal who take first strike against Gall Hill Young Shiners as the championship decider begins. The third-place playoff is currently underway with College Savannah in pursuit of a daunting target after Small Town posted over 300 runs in the first half. Savannah are now 133 for 7, digging deep as the pressure intensifies and the contest hangs in the balance.

Off the field, it’s a full community affair — jumping tents for the kids, food on sale, and health checks available throughout the day.

Still to come is the main event. The final for first place bowls off at 2:00 PM, as Gall Hill Young Shiners take on Kendal in a clash set to decide the champions.

Last Sunday’s village T20 cricket competition brought another exciting day of competition to the Codrington College playing grounds.

In the first match, 12 Lane faced off against the Gall Hill Young Shiners, with the Shiners coming out on top. The second game saw Kendal take on the College /Sargeant Street team, with Kendal securing the win to close out the day’s play.

More cricket action is set to take place this weekend, with two matches on Saturday at 11am and 2pm, and another on Sunday at 1pm.

The Codrington College grounds came alive on November 30th as the community gathered for the Village T20 cricket match on Independence Day. Families, friends and neighbours spent the afternoon cheering on the players, eating local delights, and celebrating the spirit of village cricket in Barbados.
