Salute to all of our amazing countrymen who are fighting this deadly virus to keep us safe. We pray for the well being of every single doctor, nurse, medical and healthcare staff, Bangladesh Army & Police, government workers, volunteers and essential service providers who are on the front line fighting selflessly and tirelessly. The least we can do is support them by staying inside, taking the necessary precautions and following professional advice during these difficult times. We can only overcome this together. May Allah help us all.

সকল দেশবাসীকে সুরক্ষিত রাখতে যারা মারাত্মক এই ভাইরাসের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করে চলেছেন প্রতিনিয়ত তাদেরকে জানাই আমার সালাম। ধন্যবাদ জানাই প্রতিটি ডাক্তার, নার্স, চিকিৎসা ও স্বাস্থ্যসেবা কর্মী, স্বেচ্ছাসেবক, বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনী ও পুলিশ বাহিনীর সদস্য এবং সরকারী কর্মকর্তাদের যারা নিঃস্বার্থ ও অক্লান্তভাবে লড়াই করে চলেছেন। আমরা তাদের সাহায্য করতে যা পারি তা হলো- বাসায় অবস্থান করা, প্রয়োজনীয় সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করা এবং প্রয়োজনীয় পরামর্শ মেনে চলে এই কঠিন সময়ে তাদের সহায়তা করা। তবেই আমরা একসাথে এই পরিস্থিতির মোকাবেলা করতে পারবো। আল্লাহ আমাদের সকলকে সাহায্য করুন।

সারাদেশ আজ লড়ছে একটি মহামারীকে রুখতে। করোনাভাইরাসের প্রাদুর্ভাবে অসংখ্য সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মানুষ দিন গুনছে কবে তাদের রোজগার আবার স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ফিরে আসবে।

এই মানুষগুলোর প্রতি সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়ে দিতে "দ্য সাকিব আল হাসান ফাউন্ডেশন" পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে দেশ এবং সারাবিশ্বের বিভিন্ন ব্যক্তি ও সংস্থা থেকে ফান্ড উত্তোলনের। এই ফান্ড ব্যবহার করা হবে করোনাভাইরাসের কারণে প্রভাবিত সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মানুষদের সাহায্য করবার জন্য।

এবং এর ধারা অনুযায়ী "দ্য সাকিব আল হাসান ফাউন্ডেশন" এর সর্বপ্রথম সহায়তা যাচ্ছে "মিশন সেইভ বাংলাদেশ" নামক একটি উদ্যোগে।

"মিশন সেইভ বাংলাদেশ" করোনাভাইরাসের প্রভাবকে মোকাবিলা করতে দ্য ডেইলি স্টার, Sheba.xyz এবং সমকালের একটি যৌথ উদ্যোগ। এই প্রোজেক্টটির উদ্দেশ্য হলো করোনাভাইরাসের কারণে প্রভাবিত নিম্ন-আয়ের এবং সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মানুষদের জীবিকার যোগান দেওয়া। এ পর্যন্ত ২০০০ সুবিধাবঞ্চিত পরিবারকে সাহায্য করেছে এই প্রকল্পটি এবং এই সংখ্যাকে বৃদ্ধি করতে নিরলস প্রচেষ্টা চলছে।

আসুন, সবাই মিলে একসাথে লড়ি, একসাথে বাঁচি। কারণ, মানুষ তো মানুষেরই জন্য।

The nation is fighting a pandemic today. With the outbreak of coronavirus, many underprivileged people are counting down the days when their livelihoods will return back to normal.

The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation has taken steps to raise funds from individuals and organizations around the country and around the world to help the underprivileged people affected by Coronavirus.

This is going to be the first initiative in which The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation will provide support.

"Mission Save Bangladesh" is an initiative of The Daily Star, Sheba.xyz and Samakal. The purpose of this project is to provide support to low-income and underprivileged people affected by Coronavirus. So far this project has helped over 2000 underprivileged families and efforts are underway to increase this number.
