In the last 4 odi matches that Bangladesh played, they scored 3 under 200 totalsâť—
Bangladesh's batting lineup has been facing big problems against quality bowling in last two years. They have been unable to score big as they scored or have been bowled out under or near 200, 11 times.
Other than Ireland and Zimbabwe series, they had a collapse in every series they played.
In the last Afghanistan series, the first odi was a 43 over game and they managed to score only 169. In the second odi, while chasing 331 they collapsed and were bowled out for only 189.
In the England series, the same story repeats as they put only 209 for England to chase in the first odi and scored only 194 chasing 326.
The India series, you might see that as a great success but in all the three matches , Bangladesh's batting was saved by Mehidy Hasan Miraz. In the first odi, while chasing only 186, once they were 128/4 and all of a sudden they were 136/9.
In the second odi, they collapsed again and they were 69/6. And the third odi, seeing 409 on the board they have been thrashed once more.
Other than aboves, South Africa series, Afghanistan series, Sri Lanka series, New Zealand series all had a taste of Bangladesh's batting collapse.
