"I have a photo from 2011, when we were able to go with my brothers to the hotel in Córdoba, for the Copa América. He was our idol with my brothers and we did the math on my age, the World Cups, what years they were in and, well, then in the end how everything turned out was magical.

I posted a lot of things on social media. I remember when I was younger, discussions with friends, things cheering him on. For me, he's always been the best in the world for many years now, because of his way of being on the field and off it too. Such a crack and so humble at the same time.

It's a privilege to have been able to share all these moments with him. The hug after having become world champions, the truth is that it was a very emotional moment. And then, especially because of him, to have been able to be part of that so special moment and help make it happen. The truth is, nothing, it's very exciting, very gratifying and it was very nice.

He has many gestures in everyday life that maybe he doesn't realize or doesn't grasp the magnitude of, but for those of us around, it means a lot, for all of us. It's very powerful"

"The first time I came here, I was thinking about the moment of meeting him, because he was clearly always my inspiration. So the moment was very special, having him there so close. He was like a magnet, I wanted to look at him, to see what he does, to try to understand him, because he clearly has a mind superior to everyone else's.

From a young age, I would always send him messages on Instagram and everything to thank him, to let him know that we were all with him and that Argentines wanted things to go well for him. Obviously, he might never have seen those messages, but I was happy to be able to communicate that to him, that we felt a ton of affection toward him and the desire for things to work out for him.

I think he elevated all the players, because he gave us that drive to compete for big things, to not give up, and to trust that we can, that we're capable of reaching things that are often difficult.

And I think the message he gives and what he did, maybe unconsciously, for all Argentines is huge."
