আজ সেই দিন, যেদিন বর্ণমালার জন্য বুকের তাজা রক্ত ঢেলে দিয়ে বিশ্বকে অবাক করে দিয়েছিল একদল অকুতোভয় তরুণ। ১৯৫২ সালের সেই ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারি আমাদের শিখিয়েছিল কীভাবে অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে রুখে দাঁড়িয়ে নিজের অস্তিত্ব রক্ষা করতে হয়।
পটিয়া ইউনাইটেড এফসি-এর পক্ষ থেকে আমরা স্মরণ করছি সেই সকল ভাষা শহীদদের, যাঁদের আত্মত্যাগের বিনিময়ে আজ আমরা মায়ের ভাষায় কথা বলতে পারছি, গাইতে পারছি বিজয়ের গান। মাঠের লড়াই যেমন আমাদের একতাবদ্ধ করে, আমাদের প্রিয় মাতৃভাষাও তেমনি আমাদের বেঁধে রাখে এক অভিন্ন সুতোয়।
মাঠের প্রতিটি গোল, প্রতিটি জয় আমরা উৎসর্গ করছি সেই অমর সন্তানদের প্রতি। ভাষার প্রতি আমাদের এই ভালোবাসা আর শহীদের প্রতি এই শ্রদ্ধা অটুট থাকুক চিরকাল।

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Saidur, the worthy son of the head and coach of Chittagong Football Training Center, Nazrul Babu Bhai, and a budding footballer of the U-15 Academy Cup, has passed away. (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun).
The untimely departure of a talented young footballer is an irreparable loss for the football field. The Patiya United FC family is deeply saddened by his untimely death.
