It was yesterday of 2017 that AUW Golf Club initiated by Shagufa Habibi at Asian University for Women. Today AUW Golf Club with all past and new legacies moving on by Somaya Ahmady the current Club President. The club team members are ardent to experience a new path by taking a long commute and tolerating hot weather and having to limit golf facilities.
This is our pleasure to share our club improvements and team activities on the first day of a new start for learning golf at Bhaitry Golf Club.

شگوفه حبیبی از ولایت هرات هستم. محصل سال دوم رشته اقتصاد در پوهنتون" آسایی برای زنان" در شهر چیتاگونگ بنگله دیش مصروف تحصیل میباشم. درکنار دروس خویش بعنوان بازیکن ملی افغان و یگانه گلفر در پوهنتونم درشته گلف بازی🏌️♂️⛳ میکنم و بازی گلف را در ولایت هرات در سال 2014 آغاز کرده و به مسابقات سالانه گلف در سال 2015و 2016 درکشور بنگله دیش بازی نمودم. اکنون علاقه بینهایتم به رشته گلف مرا مصمم نمود تا تیم گلف برای بانوان در کشور بنگله دیش تشکیل بدم.مدتیست تیم ما گامی برسوی حمایت یابی در شبکه های انترنتی برداشته ومن به عنوان رهبر این تیم از شما خواهشمندم تا تیم من را حمایت مالی و اجتماعیی نموده تا بتوانیم با همکاری همه تان تیم بانوان گلفر در داخل وخارج افغانستان توسعه بیشتر بدهیم🙂.

Hope you be fine and doing well.
This is Shagufa Habibi from Herat- Afghanistan. I am second year undergraduate student in Economics major at Asia University for women (AUW) in Chittagong- Bangladesh. Besides my education, I am the only student in my university who plays golf as an Afghan National Golfer. I started playing golf from 2014 in my hometown Herat-Afghanistan and participated in Annual Golf Tournaments on 5 March, 2015 and 4 January, 2017 in Dhaka – Bangladesh to represent my country as the First Afghan Lady Golfer.
I have already opened a club called AUW Golf Club⛳🏌️♂️ in Chittagong-Bangladesh. This club stepped toward social network and started fundraising campaign to get support for future improvement to increase the number of lady golfers. (A History of Golf since 1497)
Golf as we know it today originated from a game played on the eastern coast of Scotland in the Kingdom of Fife during the 15th century. Players would hit a pebble around a natural course of sand dunes, rabbit runs and tracks using a stick or primitive club. Some historians believe that Kolven from Holland and Chole from Belgium influenced the game. The latter was introduced into Scotland in 1421.
During the mid-15th century, Scotland was preparing to defend itself against an English invasion. after that,Golf's status and popularity quickly spread throughout the 16th century due to it's royal endorsement. King Charles I popularized the game in England and Mary Queen of Scots, who was French, introduced the game to France while she studied there. Indeed the term 'caddie stems from the name given to her helpers who were the French Military, known in french as cadets.
in fact,the premier golf course of the time was Leith near Edinburgh. Indeed King Charles I was on the course when given the news of the Irish rebellion of 1641. Leith was also the scene of the first international golf match in 1682 when the Duke of York and George Patterson playing for Scotland beat two English noblemen.

Putting Tips:⛳⛳
a. have narrow stands
b.No need to turn full hip and shoulder
c.check the line between your ball and green hole
d.grip the putter and extend your arms straight in front of your body
d. focus, focus and focus on ball
e. measure the speed according the distance of you and hole
f.release the arm, shoulder and hands in solid unit on putter to hit the ball.
