Rohingya: Our Homeland, Our Rights, Our Future
We are Rohingya. We are children of Myanmar, and we will not stop speaking until the world sees us, hears us, and stands with us.
Myanmar is our homeland. We are citizens by birth, not by favour. We are not beggars asking for charity; we are a people demanding justice, dignity, equality, and the rights that have been denied to us.
We demand the right to return to our homeland, to our land, to our villages, and to our communities in safety and dignity. We want more than a place to liveโwe want a future in which our children can grow up without fear and with the same opportunities as every other child.
Our women and girls have endured unimaginable suffering, including violence, displacement, and the loss of educational opportunities. They deserve not only recognition and compensation, but also rehabilitation, justice, protection, and equal opportunities to study, work, and live with dignity.
Above all, we demand a genuine guarantee of non-repetitionโa guarantee that no child, no girl, no mother, and no family will ever again have to experience the horrors our people have endured.
For us, repatriation is not simply about returning to a place on a map. It is about restoring our lives, our identity, our dignity, our rights, and our security. It is about ensuring that the Rohingya can return as equal and rightful citizens of Myanmar, with legal recognition and meaningful protection.
We ask the international community not to see us merely as refugees in need of assistance. See us as human beings with rights. Hear our voices. Stand with our pursuit of justice. Support our right to return home safely and voluntarily, with dignity and security.
We are Rohingya. We are children of Myanmar.
And we will continue to speakโnot because we seek pity, but because we seek justice.
We will continue to speakโnot because we want charity, but because we demand our rights.
We will continue to speak until the world sees us, hears us, and stands with us.
Our homeland is Myanmar.
Our dignity is not negotiable.
Our rights are not a favour.
And justice must not be forgotten.
