Story in English Premier League 2024-25 (1): The European Race

Liverpool became the champion this season way before. Same goes for three clubs also confirmed their relegation. Still there remains excitement, because 5 clubs are in a race of three Champions League spot- Mancity, Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Nottingham.

1. Liverpool and Arsenal already confirmed their UCL spot by securing the top two spots. Tottenham also are in the Champions league by winning the Europa League, despite being right above the relegation zone right now. Crystal Palace made it to the Europa League for the first time in their history by winning the FA cup. This means only one other team will have the chance to play Europa- the team from the sixth spot.

2. Manchester city bounced back after having a terrible Trophyless season. They have the upper hand, as they need only a point to secure their third spot. Losing today against Fulham will hang their luck. In this case, if all the other clubs in the race other than Nottingham wins today, they'll have to play the Europa League. But if any of Newcastle, Chelsea of Villa loses points in this scenario, Manchester City will have a relief with their UCL spot.

3. A win for Newcastle will be enough. A draw or loss against Everton today will also work, but they'll need to hope for a draw in Chelsea vs Nottingham match. If any of the two teams win this game in this case, then Newcastle need to hope for a loss of Aston Villa.

4. Like Newcastle, Chelsea won't have any tension if they win today. If they draw their match today, they'll need to hope for a loss or draw of Newcastle or Aston Villa. But if Nottingham beat Chelsea today, Chelsea will need to pray more, as they'll need Villa's loss or Newcastle's loss by at least 4 goals margin to play in the UCL next season. This is the only case when Nottingham tops them, and they'll have the fear to be dragged down even in the Conference league. They'll still have a chance to play in the Europa then, if they manage to win the Conference league final against Real Betis.

5. Aston Villa is not in a Comfortable place like Chelsea or Newcastle, despite having the same points like them. This is why they are currently holding the only Europa League spot. To reclaim their Champions League spot, they'll need to beat Manchester United today. This will even not work for them to get the UCL spot, if all the other three on top of them wins today. So they'll also need to hope to watch any of the others loosing points. A draw will make their way much harder, as then they'll need to pray for Newcastle's loosing. Worst case scenario will come if they loses, and Nottingham gets a point today, which will even drag them down the the Conference League.

6. Nottingham Forrest needs a win today, no matter what. That winning will make their way to the UCL if any of Manchester city loses today, or Newcastle/Villa loses their points. Otherwise, even if they win, they'll need to he happy with the Europa League next season. Although, a Conference League spot will also make them satisfied according to their expectations before the season has started.

Story on Serie A 2024-25 (5): The Relegation battle

Five teams are fighting to avoid relegation in the very last Serie A day. Monza already got relegated. Thus two more spots are till open to drag down two more teams from the top tier.

1. Hellas Verona are on the safest side. Even their loss won't be a burden if all the other 'three' teams manages to win somehow. This will be a nightmare case for them, although are chances are very narrow.

2. I said 'three', because Verona will face Empoli, who are in the relegation zone Currently. They need to win today, but a draw might work if Lecce loses today against Lazio. That'll drag Lecce down to the relegation zone. So Lecce wouldn't be happy with just a draw and leave their luck to Empoli tonight.

3. Venezia doesn't have the same luxury as Empoli. They need to win no matter what, and also pray for the loss of either Empoli or Lecce.

4. Parma will be relegated if they loose today against Atalanta, and both Empoli and Lecce manages to win. They'll surely want to avoid this scenario.

Story on Serie A 2024-25 (4): The champions

Napoli, after a flying start this season, was falling out of the race with Inter. They overtook Inter at the late of the season, secured it with all their passion. In the end, they've made it. After one season, Napoli reclaimed their Scudetto. They are the Italian kings for this year!

This time is came with a different man- Antonio Conte. This time they played different football- not so flashy, yet effective. Antonio brought in Scott McTominay from Manchester United. He won his first ever league title with a team, being one of the vital players of the squad. His bicycle kick in the last game to secure the title deserves to be framed in Napoli's Hall of Fame. Antonio bought Romelu Lukaku, whom people were considering to be expired, flourished on the pitch. Antonio brought Okafor and Phillip Billing on loan, who were also effective for the squad. Their loss of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the Winter transfer window didn't have a larger impact on the squad.

All things worked out just as Antonio needed. He, therefore, won Scudetto for three different teams in Serie A- a record that no manager has in their career.

Inter had their hands in Serie A, till the 33rd week. In the later season, the effect of Three competition were too much on then, which reflected in the ground. They lost to AC Milan twice in the domestic cup competitions. And now they've lost the League title to Napoli. The team who were on the run to win a treble, now have a chance to win only one trophy, the Champions league.

This does not make the efforts of the Nepols less. They truly deserves the title, this time in Stadio Armandando Maradona itself.

Story on La Liga 2024-25 (1): European Spots and Relegation

The La liga is already dead in the final day. Barcelona made their way to win the La liga of this season before. All the clubs qualifying to the Champions League is already confirmed. Real Betis confirmed one Europa spot. They played their final game against Valencia one day earlier as a preparation for their Conference League Final against Chelsea this weak. Even two teams already accepted their fate of relegation. However, you can look up for some actions which are still remaining to showcase in the last day

1. Celta Vigo, having one point advantage over Rayo Vallecano and Osasuna, is currently holding the remaining Europa league spot of the league. So they'll need a win in the final game to seal the spot. Otherwise they'll need to hope for loss of the remaining two.

2. A draw for Rayo Vallecano or for Osasuna won't work to qualify to the Europa lague, as they are lacking GD. Both team need to win for that. However, to play in the Conference League, Vallecano has a slight advantage over Osasuna despite having same points and GD. So Osasuna will surely hope for a win today.

3. Sevilla and Girona somehow avoided their religation on their previous games. Thus its only between Espanyol and Leganes now. Leganes must need a win to get rid of relegation, with a hope of Espanyol loss. There is no other way around for Leganes.

Story on Championship 2024-25 (3): The Last Task

Hamza Choudhury on his way to finish the very last match of his loan spell with Sheffield United. Last match, but same task- qualifying Sheffield to the Premier League once again after a season in between.

A play off final is the only remaining match of the Championship left, where Hamza's Sheffield will fight against Sunderland. Sunderland just did an amazing last minute win against Coventry. Although their task won't be that easy, as Sheffield United was far more better team than them in this season. However, its a matter of only one game. Anything can happen, any moment of drama can change everything.

Sheffield's qualification to Premier League will surely make Hamza a hotcake for the championship team, as he did the same with Leicester City in the previous season. Although Leicester will definitely want to want him back, as they'll have to play Championship next season. This will drag away the chance for Hamza to play in the Premier League. But that's a story for the future, if Sheffield manages to win the final.

Story in Serie A 2024-25 (2): Battle for European Spots

The top three: Napoli, Inter and Atalanta already confirmed their European Spots with a healthy amount of point deference from the others. There remains one spot each for the three European Competition open in this last day.

1. Juventus has a threat to lose their Champions League spot to Roma or Lazio. A win definitely seal their spot. Other results will open up possibilities to other teams.

2. A draw for Juventus may save them from Lazio, but Roma will have a chance to ovetake them by winning in a four goal margin or more.

3. Hence Roma will hope for a lose of Juventus, to confirm their ticket to champions league by winning. A draw won't work for them in this case. However, a draw or loss will even make Roma's Europa league spot vulnerable to Lazio.

4. Lazio's win will make them a Champions league spot holder only if both Juventus and Lazio loses today. Only one loss of any of the two teams will make them qualified to play in Europa league. Any other results of Lazio won't help them to go up from Conference league next year.

5. A simple draw will make them safe from Fiorentina and Bologna to overtake them and take their Conference league spot. If they lose, then both Fiorentina and Bologna will need a mandatory win to go to the conference league. Fiorentina will get a advantage in this case, if both of them wins, because of their GD.

Story on Serie A 2024-25 (1): Title Race

Serie A is right now in the most exciting state of the top five leagues. Its the last day, and the title race is still on. European spots are not yet confirmed. Relegation battle is also on fire. So strap in, and enjoy a hell of a night!

Both of the top two teams drew their last games. Napoli ended up in a goal-less draw against Parma, who are fighting to avoid relegation. Inter Milan, on the way of managing a way nearly, conceded a penalty in the additional time against Lazio, who are also fighting for a European spot. Thus, Inter failed to gain an advantage over Napoli. Now, Napoli's one point advantage still remains the same.

In this final day, Inter will face Como, who are showcasing a decent performance in this league. There's no option of losing today for Inter if they want the Scudetto. Whereas Napoli will face a comparatively weaker side Cagliari.

1. If Napoli wins, they are simply the champion of this season. No result of Inter can change the scenario.

2. If Napoli draws today, their luck will depend upon Inter's result. If Inter win the match in this case, they'll become the champion. Any other results for Inter won't have an effect on Napoli.

3. If Napoli loses, then Inter will need a simple win to become the champion.

4. The Interesting thing will show up if Napoli loses today, and Inter ends up in a draw. Both of their points will be 79 then. Serie A title is not decided with GD if this situation arises. Rather, there will be a play-off between Inter and Napoli, like a Final. The winner will hold the title. This might be the possibility which all the football enjoyers around the world will want!

Inter surely wants to hold their title as a current champion, which will put Simone Inzaghi on the way to win a double this year. If Napoli reclaims their titlw from 2022-23, then Antonio Conte will become the only manager in the history to win Scudetto with three different teams in Italy.

Presenting you the UEFA Europa League 2024-25 Champions: Tottenham Hotspur

A continued banter of being trophyless for a straight 17 years, they have managed to end the drought finally. That too with a European trophy. Their season went miserable, just being one step ahead of the Relegation zone. Losing the final will bring an tragedy to them, but they could manage to turn it around.

Ange Postecoglou, who stated that he always win a Trophy in his second season, kept his word. He brought the Spurs a glory that they'll never forget. This will be a history, of which the front liner is definitely Son Heung‑min. The South Korean is surely the best captain of the history of the club right now.

I feel so hapy for both of them. They are not a club without trophy anymore. Congratulations, Spurs! 🤍

Story on Primeira Liga 2024-25 (4): European Spot-holders, and Santa Clara

Porto already confimed their their Europa League more or less, they made that 100% by winning their last game. Same goes for Braga, who managed their Europa League Qualification spot before. Although they drew against Benfica, it didn't create any effect on them. Benfica, however, needed a win in that match to have their hopes alive for the direct qualification to Champions League. Although that win wouldn't work as Sporting won their last game against Vitória, securing their title, and also confirming UCL. Benfica still have a chance to pass through the UCL qualification play-off.

The success of Sporting ended up as a misery for Vitória. All they needed was a win. A draw or loss would also worked if Santa Clara would lost their final game. However, that was not the case. Santa Clara won their last game of the league against Farnese, which sealed the relegation of Farnese, and confirmed European competition next season at Azores. This also confirmed no European competition for Vitória in the next season after 2021-22 season, which may feel unfamiliar to many Vitória fans.

Santa Clara's run to UEFA Europa League is bizarre. After their first ever qualification to the top tier at 1999-00 season, they struggled, and eventually lost their position there by being relegated after three consecutive seasons. After fifteen years being in the second tier, they managed to climb up once again at 2018-19, which even led to their first ever European participation to a renowned European League: Conference League. That sweat story didn't last long, as they've been relegated again and had to play the second division at 2023-24 season. Then a fairytale happened. Under their Manager Vasco Matos, they flourished. They not only managed to get promotion in in the very next season, but also secured an European spot this season. Which is surely remain as a historical moment for their club to cherish forever.

What they'll achieve next will remain a question for the next season!
