Sometimes I feel really grateful for the people who trusted me during such important phases of their life.
Shahnazâs journey is one of those stories I will always remember. Starting from a high-risk pregnancy with so many concernsâĻ and slowly, step by step, things began to improve.
She stayed consistent, stayed strong, and trusted the process. We worked together with simple yoga, breathing, and a lot of mental support.
And todayâĻ she has a healthy baby girl.

Honestly, moments like this remind me why I started Yoga Bliss. Itâs not just about physical activityâitâs about support, care, and feeling safe in your own body.

Honored to participate in the 26th INCOFYRA (International Conference on Frontiers in Yoga Research and its Applications) on the theme âYoga as Rehabilitation Medicine â Plasticity, Performance & Resilience,â organized by S-VYASA Deemed-to-be University, Bengaluru.
I presented my paper titled âKnowledge, Attitudes, and Challenges Regarding Antenatal Yoga Among Nurses in Bangladesh: A Cross-Sectional Study,â highlighting key gaps in awareness and practice of antenatal yoga among nurses in Bangladesh.
Grateful for the opportunity to share maternal healthâfocused yoga research on an international platform.

Hatha Yoga KriyÄ: Inner Cleansing
In Hatha Yoga, kriyÄs prepare the body and mind for deeper practice.
Three important ones are:
Sutra Neti â A soft rubber catheter is passed through the nose to clear deeper nasal passages and improve breathing.
Kala Neti â A variation of Jala Neti with specific head movements to cleanse the sinuses, reduce heaviness and clear the mind.
LSP (Laghu Åankha PrakášŖÄlana) â A gentle yogic intestinal wash using warm salted water and specific movements for gut cleansing and a feeling of lightness.
Learn and practise them only with a trained teacher, and only if they are suitable for you.
