Yes, this was probably Argentina's poorest performance of the entire tournament. They simply weren't the team we've admired throughout the competition. Credit where it's due, Spain deserved the victory and were clearly the better side in the final.

But being a true fan isn't about celebrating only the trophies. It's about standing beside your team when they fall, believing in them when the world doubts them, and waiting for the day they rise again.
