Team IUB participated in the Teachers’ Memorial Basketball Tournament 2025 (Club Segment) and emerged as unbeaten champions, dominating every opponent throughout the tournament. The final match was a highly intense and thrilling contest against the Josephites, where Team IUB demonstrated exceptional resilience, teamwork, and a true championship mentality.

We are proud to announce that our male basketball team has qualified for the semifinals of Teacher's memorial Basketball tournament 2025 as group champions. The team has faced BKSP, Josephites, and Changas in the group stage. Today they will be facing Gregorian Aces at 6.00 p.m. in their home ground.

IUB starts off the Teacher's Memorial Basketball Tournament with a dominant win against BKSP! Let's get the rest of the W's. 🏀

Next game today at 5:30 PM against the ever famous Josephites. Come support us at St. Gregory High School and College at Laxmi Bazaar.

On 21st and 23rd November, we successfully hosted the Intra-IUB 3x3 Basketball Tournament along with our Orientation Program.
The tournament featured 8 competitive teams, showcasing skill, teamwork, and incredible sportsmanship.

🥈 Runners-up: Team led by Raisul Islam Durjoy
We were honored to have Atif M Safi Sir, Farhad Hossain Sir, and our coach Shawn Chowdhury join us during the Orientation and inspire our players.

Our players are geared up, motivated, and ready to represent Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) with pride and passion. This championship brings together some of the best teams from around the region, and we’re here to give it everything we’ve got — on and off the court.
