From them, the Top 20 players will qualify for the Main Tournament.

⚠️ Important Notes:

The additional 10 players (21–30) are kept as reserves in case any of the top 20 cannot participate.

Final Top 20 participants will be selected based on both ranking and availability.

This tournament is strictly open to B.Sc students of BUET only. M.Sc students are not eligible.

Due to an overwhelming number of registrations for the Intra-BUET Chess Tournament 2026, we’re excited to announce an Online Qualifier Round to select the best of you to play in the offline event.

🔹 Platform: Lichess
🔹 Format: 5+2 blitz
🔹 Rounds: 7 Rounds Swiss

⏰ Tournament Time: 19 March, 10:30 pm.
